Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party~~October 5

our passes came in the mail last week--YAY! We had so much fun last year, my boys begged to go back again :)

I'm waiting to see what the Halloween t-shirts at Target & Old Navy look like this year...we'll probably get matching t-shirts or go for an orange & black theme. It was so hot last year....my kids were much happier in t-shirts and shorts.

I hope my hunch is right and the night of 10/5 is a little less crowded than 10/3...

We had to choose between 10/5 or Friday 10/10.....
I'm thinking sunday will be better! :D

Same here....those should be out by Labor day.

We will be there too - Buzz, Snow White, Witch but no Grumpy (DH can't come this time ;) )
Driving down that day with 5 other newbies. MNSSHP will be their first introduction to Disney!!!
See y'all there! Boo!

Hi everyone--looks like our family will be going you guys Oct 5. We did have tickets for Oct 10 but had to change our travel plans. WDW ticketing is awesome, they said just mail in tickets saying plans changed and give our new date and they will exchange our tickets for us.

My DC (cousin) and DB (brother) want to join us for the MNSSHP. I have had the tickets since they were first sold. How many days in advance do I need to order the tickets to get the advaced purchase price? Also, anyone still getting them? i am worried that i might not get them in time before we leave. Yes, I realize it is 1 month away, but these two are horrible decision makers and I am afraid they are going to tell me too late. ie..they just told me that they want to go and they still have to get airfare and limo service and figure out dates.. So what is the last possible date to order tickets to get them in the mail or can you pick them up if you order them like the week before you leave?

Thanks in advance!

You can buy them at the MK. Sounds like since you dont know if they are going or not that might be the best idea.

Well, I told them I had to know by September 10th. Their room payment is due then. So, I will know by then. I am worried to wait until I get there for fear that it might be sold out! I would hate for my Cousin to sit in her room all by herself. So, I was just curious if you can have them send it to your reservation or have them hold it for you at MK or do you have to get them in the mail?

As long as you by them before the date, you will get the advance price. If you order last minute, you pick them up at the "will call" window, which I guess is guest relations. I'm planning on Oct 5 also but will buy the tickets when we get there on Oct 1, I don't think they will sellout. We always get our MVMCP tickets when we get there for a Sunday or Tuesday night. I want to make sure the weather is OK, if Friday is better we might see if we can get tickets for that night (Oct 3). I think the nights closer to Halloween will sellout first.

Look for Us, this is the reason we booked in Oct.I can only hope its not too crowded and our dd(3yrs) aka Tinkerbell and our ds(4yrs) aka Cptn. Hook can hang out long enough to make it worth it.

Dining in Cindys castle @ 5!

What are anybodys feelings on how crowded this will get???

What are your plans for that day? I'm sure if you take is slow that day and the kids get a good nap, they'll be able to stay up for the party.

My 12 year old I are going to take an early afternoon break that we can stay up.:smooth:

Me and my DH will be at the party on October 5, we went to one
two years ago, but it rained all night, maybe the weather gods
will be kinder to us this time. Could someone tell me about the meet?

This is thread started about Oct 5th DIS meet. I am not sure if there is another one or not.

There is a group that is planning on meeting in front of the Haunted Mansion at 7:30 pm. So if anyone is interested in a meet there will be a group there.

Perfectmatch300 can be thanked for this.:)

Even though Perfectmatch300 stole her idea from the BEST MNSSHP DIS MEET EVER being held on 10/3, here's the 10/5 DIS Meet thread - scroll down 6 or 7 messages.

Those who will be there on 10/3 too are more than welcome to take notes on how it's done!

 :jester:

Seriously, have a great time Sunday night!

Do you also have to have a regular park ticket to attend or do you just have to have the Halloween ticket? What time do people start arriving for it?

We will be there on the 5th with DD age 6, DS age 4 and Grandma and Grandpa. This is our second year. Last year MNSSHP was the highlight of our trip!

I can't wait for this year!! We'll have our lime green Mickey ears from Home Depot on our backpack.

See you there:bounce:
