So I think I'm finally getting the hang of this photo thing. Below *hopefully* are photos of my friends and I in costume at the 2006 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party:

Mickeywanabe: those costumes are awesome. Love it!

Thanks, we had a lot fun... And they were pretty easy costumes.

And anytime someone would start reading off our names (which happened quite often) we would break into the Mickey Mouse Club song.

I was originally going to be Tinkerbell, but gave up on that when the costume I ordered didn't fit. So at the 9/28/08 party I went as a female version of the Mad Hatter. Honestly, I wasn't sure if anyone would know what I was supposed to be (I probably looked more like a leprochaun), but surprisingly a lot of the Cast members knew. I was referred to as the Mad Hatter's Wife, Maddie Hatter, and the Mad Hattress.

I went as Giselle in her curtain dress!
This pic is probably the best one i have of my dress (I didn't take any alone with my camera):

Thanks for the info Travelingal. I was soooo worried about my skirt on my costume. Im glad to know it was not as difficult as i made it seem in my head. LOL

Yeah, you should be fine. When we went to MNSSHP in October 2006 I dressed as the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio. I wore my matron of honor dress from my sister wedding and it went all the way to the ground. The only time I had any trouble was when I tried to get out of the cars at Tomorrowland Indy Speedway. I totally forgot about picking up my dress, stepped on it, and plopped right back down in the car. Luckily the person waiting to get in the car was a gentleman dressed as Willy Wonka. He smiled, and help me get out of the car. I was able to turn an embarrassing moment into a learning one for my DS's. I told my DS's "Now that is a true gentleman, and I hope one day you boys would do the same for a woman." I always tell people that I am not just raising boys, I am raising gentlmen that will know how to treat a lady.

The dog is a Service Dog in Training, if you look closely you can see her patches under her wings.

Very cool! What kind of service does a small dog offer? (I can't tell if it's a beagle or a basset, but neither one is very tall to help with the traditional things I think of.)

She is a bassett and in training to be a medical / seizure dog.
Many smaller dogs are service dogs ie. a chihuahua can make a great hearing dog.

That's neat to know! Thanks for sharing.

OK - sorry for derailing the thread... It can go back to MNSSHP costumes now... :thumbsup2

I LOVE it! I would have much prefered to get the curtain one to the wedding gown, but I can't afford to spend the money to have it special made.
