Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central!

Halloween night is sold out. BUT--- the way I see it. The number of tickets they sell is considerably less than the maximum capacity of the park. So it can't be wall-to-wall. I'm going Halloween. I'm hoping it's not terrible, but either way I'm at Disney!!!

I'm not worried about the 31st being sold out - I already have my tickets, and am expecting not to be able to WALK onto rides, but since I'm also at WDW on the 30th, I'm wondering if I should buy tickets for that night as well... or would two nights in a row be overdoing it?

Oh I would do 2 nights in a row. That would be awesome! We don't go until the 26th. I would love to also go on the 30th. I would love to have one night to see the parade and fireworks and the other night to get pictures with the characters. That would be so much fun to be there two nights I think.

What a beautiful pic on your signature. I bet our girls were thrilled with having all those wonderful characters around.princess:

Thanks so much! The girls were very excited! Prince Charming is from our hometown so he set it up for us. It was very special! The girls were in awe and just full of smiles. I couldn't even get pictures of them because there were so many characters around them. It was a very special moment. Thanks again for the compliment on the picture!

On or about Friday..........my sister had saw a thread about someone that had some tickets for sale for mnsshp ~ 2 adults and 2 kids ~ she thought. My plans have changed, and I am vacationing earlier than thought, but the rest of my family has tickets and I do not. :(

Does anyone remember this or know who might have had these?? I tried to do a search........but it is not working right now. :(

Thank you so much for your help!!

Ok, first for the sad tale of planning our Disney Vacation at the last minute, only to find that Halloween is awsome, and they are all sold out. In your opinions, should we just skip MK altogether that day and go to the other parks, or have you ever heard of anyone turning in tickets they can't use to Guest Relations? I know its a stretch, but I'm just wondering. Just 2 adults going...we arrive around noon on Halloween. Any suggestions would be great. :wave2:

Doreygirl- Since there are no kids involved, you may want to consider Pleasure Island for the evening. They have a lot going on and everyone dresses in costumes. We did this a few years ago and had a blast! :jester:

We went to MK Friday about 2:00. The crowds were not bad at all. I think because the park closed at 6:00. We did stay for the Halloween party and the crowds really picked up when they started letting people in for that - I think around 4:30 or so. It was a lot of fun!

Hi all!!

I am so sorry I haven't posted since I attended MNSSHP on 10/16 but we had a personal tragedy happen the day before we left for Florida...Joe's 28 yr. old niece, Alex, was in a horrible motorcycle accident in Manhattan. We almost cancelled our trip, but his sister insisted we go,that Alex wouldn't want us to miss our trip to sit and watch her in the hospital.Alex had just been to WDW the week before. She loves Disney too.:earsgirl:

She suffered massive internal injuries and had alot of sugergy done and was in a coma. All of her internal injuries and fractures are healing nicely and her tests are all coming back normal, so at this point our biggest concern is her ability to communicate with the family. She's been following simple commands like close and open your eyes, following your finger left to right and she even tried to stick out her tongue when her Mom asked her to. She is actually not concidered to be in a coma anymore, she is classified as suffering from a "severe acute traumatic brain injury" (which sure seems like a coma). There is no way to know if she'll ever return to functioning, and we're hoping for the best, if it does happen, it won't happen quickly. It will take weeks, months, even years.:(

Again I apologize...we went to WDW but it wasn't exactly the trip we had planned. My mind has been elsewhere since we returned too.

If you could all keep Alex and our family in your thoughts and prayers it would be greatly appreciated. :)

I want to wish all of you on your way to WDW and MNSSHP....have a SPOOKTACKULAR time!

Just an FYI for anyone going, the locker rentals are free during the MNSSHP...you have to give $2 for a deposit on the key, but when you return it you get the $ back.
We had an awesome time on the 19th........ had many many people take our photos :D

So, so sorry, Baloo. I'm new to this board, but still feel your pain. Our prayers are with you and Alex.

Does anyone know what time the fireworks are on 10/31?
When I call Disney- they claim the time is not determined (probably to avoid the crowds @the hotels) and when I look online- I can not find anything w/the time.
Since the fireworks are special. I wanted to watch from Ohana- but I dont know what time to be there for dinner?

I think they were about 9:15 the night we were there.
