Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central!

Everything has pretty much been the same set up at MNSSHP for the last eight years that my family has attended! pirate:

I do understand Mickey's Toon Town Fair is open this year so there will be Trick or Treat stations in that area too.

HAPPY HAUNTING!! <img src=http://www.tnfj.com/Images/Smilies/asthanos.gif>

I've asked this before but never got a reply. Any parade tips like what is your best/favorite viewing spot to watch the parade especially the headless horseman at the beginning? Thanks!:D

The parade route starts and ends the way all of the other parades do. I've watched it anywhere from Liberty Square on down Main Street. The Headless Horseman rides down the route just before the parade begins(he's easy to miss if you're not lined up to watch the parade about 15 minutes prior to it beginning.). The other thing you want to look for is the Witch's flight which occurs during the fireworks display. Like Tinkerbell, the witch flies across the sky from high atop the castle straight into Tomorrowland. Best viewing spot for this would be anywhere directly in front of the castle or off to the right on any of the bridges that link Tomorowland and Fantasyland to the Main Street hub.

legs22...we like to watch the parade in Frontierland as it less crowded than Main Street. The Headless Horseman rides the parade route 10 to 15 minutes PRIOR to the start of the parade so anywhere you have a good view of the parade you'll be able to see the HHM!

One year my son Erich and I were sitting in Liberty Square right around the stockade thingie.HHM looked pretty cool riding past the Liberty Tree and the colonial type buildings, just the right setting for him!

Hey everyone I had heard that the Carousel of Progress was open during some of the MNSSHP's so far this year. Can anyone confirm or dispell this rumor?

Thanks,

RW

unclescroogefan, we have PS for CP on the 26th. Tried for LTT but it was booked. We just love the LTT.

We just got back tonight. We attended MNSSHP on Oct. 5th. It was the highlight of our trip! Crowds were nonexistent. We arrived at will call about 6:50 because my girls took a late nap after Seaworld. We picked up our tickets with no wait. They also gave us a map there. We went right in and grabbed our bags to trick or treat. We headed straight for pictures right next across from the treehouse in Adventureland. (The pictures were here in our mailbox before we returned from our trip.) The line was about 10 minutes. That was the longest we waited on anything all night. We attended the Dis meet in front of the Haunted Mansion and enjoyed meeting some new friends. We headed to Mickey's Philharmagic. This is the best 4-D attraction that they have done! We made it to the 10:00 (really 10:25, I don't know what the hold up was) parade. The parade is well themed. The headless horseman is not to be missed. We walked straight on Buzz Lightyear and many other rides. Carousel of progress was open. This is a must do event! The best part of our evening was the amount of attention we got do to our costumes. I spent many hours creating a costume that I hoped nobody else had done to that point and judging by the reactions of characters and CM's we were a hit! We were the new Disney Visa cards!

PS. Wear insect repellent. We were getting eaten alive near the Haunted Mansion and not by ghosts just by mosquitos big enough to fly off with you.

Ive posted this elsewhere but the earliest you can get in with your party tickets is 4pm. Just make sure you come in on the ferry boat side. And the horseman is AWESOME! He actually runs about 5 minutes before the parade but by the time he gets to frontierland its more like 15 minutes.
Have fun and look for me at the front!

Why the ferry instead of the monorail??? Something special happen on the ferry? We are arriving about 4:15pm ish for a 5pm PS @ LTT and I pretty much planned the monorail. I am hoping to get in between 4-4:15-- as we have 9 newbies going w/ us-- and I think it's going to take a few minutes to get them down Main Street over to LTT.

Disney Guest- I will try to post some pictures of our costumes, if I can figure out how to do it. The best part about the costume was it cost about $6.oo for the whole family. I used red poster board , paint pens, paint, elastic for the shoulders and safety pins. A friend of mine pulled out her Visa at work and couldn't believe how realistic it was. It was also easy to ride the rides and not hot or bulky.

We don't have ressies at any restaurant that evening. We are flying in that afternoon. Do you know the earliest we can get in w/o rest. ressies? Thanks:confused:

I will be arriving Oct 25 till Nov 1.

Going to MNSSHP on Halloween Oct 31 and have PS at LLT that evening. Ill be Maleficent and my DS will be Experiment Stitch.. I cant wait to go.

Does anyone know if you are already in the MK the day of your MNSSHP event, do you have to leave the park and re-enter?? Or can I stay and just show my tickets? Anyone know?

Thanks and have a great time.:earsboy: :earsboy:
