Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central!

Newtodisney, I was just going to post the exact same question about CP. I took a PS for CP hoping that I could eat there before the party, but I think that since both of us have been told the same things, that it may be true. You cannot get into the party to eat at CP without using one day's admission. That is too bad! Now can anyone say what is the earliest that they have gotten into the party without PS's?

I just got off the phone with Disney Dining and was told the characters will dress up for LLT but probably not at CP. I also doubled checked and you would need to use one days admission if you choose CP for dinner. They have set up LTT to be the dinner spot for the party and would only need a PS# and your MNSSHP ticket to get in before 7pm.

If you were hoping for LTT for MNSSHP I'd definetly give it another shot. I was just able (this morning) to get a party of 12 all together for Halloween night at 5pm!!!! I have called at least 6 times already (since June). At first I could get 7-7:30 ish split up (didn't want to miss the start of the party). Then I couldn't get anything. Now, I have exactly what I want.

Thanks for the info everyone. Yesterday I was told that LTT was full on the 26th. Today I called back and told them I was going to MNNSHP and had my choice of times between 5 and 5:30pm. I do have one question. Since this will be our first time at the party, where do you turn in your tickets to get the wrist bands?

If you enter the park after 4:00p, it will probably be at the gate. If not, it could be either in the restaurant or by CMs standing around in the park whose sole purpose is to hand out wristbands.

Again, because of you wonderful people I have been able to get what I wanted!!! I had been thinking that maybe I would make PS for LTT for 10/31 Halloween Night!!!! Never imagined I would get PSs! Because of your recent posts, I just called, mentioned that I was going to MNSSHP and they said that they were all booked up. I mentioned that I was told that there was another way to look it up because of MNSSHP, she put me on hold, came back and still didnt know what I was talking about. Again I told her that there was a different way to look it up because the park would be closing for the day and then it would be opening back up again for the party, well, this seemed to click something in her head and... tada!!! I had my choice of times!! Yipee!!! Thank you all soooooo much!!

I just tried this for my Plaza Rest. PS's and it didn't work. Not sure if the CM didn't check it right or if the restaurant is closed for MNSSHP. So my PS remains at 4:50pm

So we've purchased our tickets to MNSSHP for Oct. 31st! I was afraid that date would be sold out but it wasn't. Whew! My FH & I will be honeymooning there & we both can't wait to go. We've never been to Orlando so it'll be a major treat for us!

Also how far in advance can you get your tickets? Can I buy them day of at the resort (other than DH and I we're not sure how many will be in our party until probably we get there).

Another question. Do you have to use a day on your park hopper that day? Or can you just show up before 7?

dsneygirl...that's the week I'm going and the week I've gone the past 2 years.It's not off season anymore but very enjoyable.Crowds managaeable,lines aren't bad and the weather is usually pleasant.

Also how far in advance can you get your tickets? Can I buy them day of at the resort (other than DH and I we're not sure how many will be in our party until probably we get there). MNSSHP tickets went on sale in May or June so they have been out awhile.It has been possible in the past to buy tickets the day of a MNSSHP at your resorts.If you really want to attend this event I recommend buying them now as there is no guarantee that there will be any left by then as this has become a VERY popular event.I know here in TN and from family in Indiana, schools are out that week.I know several people who have never been to WDW at that time of year are going this year.BooHoo because Oct use to be a really quiet time at the World...the secrets out though...dang it!!!

No you do not have to use your Hopper pass to get into MNSSHP.The earliest I've been told "offically" that you can get in with just a party ticket is 6pm although some others have posted even earlier times of 5pm.


DSIGNOR...where are you getting this info? As far as I know the fireworks will be a part of MNSSHP.

I looked on the calender on wdw website and the fireworks were only monday through saturday, hope i am wrong

If you look at the MNSSHP dates the only Sunday that it doesn't cover is the 12th. This is why they show no fireworks.
Only the people at the party will be in the park to see them.

Hi Everyone,

I am really struggling with whether to go or not. We have a 4yr old and a 18 month old. Obviously past their bedtime and I'm not sure they'll nap at the hotel. Has anyone taken young kids? Do they just conk out or are they actually enjoying it???

You know your kids better than anyone....
We are going with our GD 7 and GS 2 years.
They will take naps in the afternoon and enjoy MNSSHP.
I can say that because we have been there many times and I know what to expect from them.
Both have made many trips to WDW and DL.
However we will expect the unexpected and go with it.
It's not a guestion you can generalize.
You will never know till you do it.

We are, DH & I going to be at OKW for our fifteenth anniversary, ( Yes the kids are not happy! ) My question is that I mentioned the MNSSHP to DH and he said that if we really wanted to that we could purchase tickets when we get there. We would be attending the Oct. 9 party do you think that there will be any tickets left for that night?
