For those of you who missed the boat on the tickets for the 31st. Think about it. Do you really want to be at MK if the tickets are sold out and its filled to capacity?? I do have tickets for that night but I'm kind of dreading it a little now that its sold out. The boardwalk sounds like a great alternative. I also heard downtown disney has something too!

You betcha! I can't wait, that's the only day we can go, and from what everyone says here, it's not that crowded even if it's sold out. We usually go at Christmas, so it's gotta be better than that! I have never been there when it wasn't crowded. I am so psyched, I just have to come up with costume ideas!

What do i do with the MNSSHP tickets that I have for Oct. 26? I am having to change the date to Oct. 24. I read somewhere about this same situation but I can't remember what everyone said to do. I know that these tickets are nonrefundable but I don't want them to go to waste......HELP! please help, any suggestions?

On another thread I started about adults dressing up someone posted they didn't see many adults dressed up near the first part of October. Now I'm stressed cause I've already ordered our costumes. Man, hubby will be irritated with me if we get there and nobody is dressed! Please comfort my fears guys!!! :(

I was told that tickets for the 31st were sold out. Well, they are. I just found out that my Sis and nephew and niece will be there earlier that week. I had wanted them to go with us to the party too, but the tickets were just sold out. If I had called a day earlier, we would have had them. Since we've already made plans for the 29th (I was going to go to the party twice), we can't go on Friday with them. Oh well, maybe next year! I'm looking forward to it. I'm going as Pocahontas, my hubby is going as a Prince, daughter will be Sleeping Beauty and 11yr. old son wants to be Jango Phat sp? from Star Wars. Okay, I have a lot of work to do. At first, my DH refused to dress up, but since then, I've talked him into doing it. Anyone else going as Pocahontas? :Pinkbounc :earsgirl:

 No adults get dressed up?! Oh man...I had convinced DH to get dressed up into costume w/ me too. I don't wanna look like the only geeks dressed up if no other adults are getting dressed up!

Anyone else? We're gonna be there on the 17th. PLEASE tell me others are gettin' dressed too, if not then we're just gonna go as plain 'ol us.

Okay, Lenshanem and QJ411, take a deep breath. Adults will be dressed up! Lenshanem, you yourself started a poll and saw the results. The majority of adults dressed up or will dress up (me included). Will everyone dress up? No. But if you want to dress up, dress up! If your hubby's are really concerned, bring a back pack with clothes to change into and leave it in the locker. But I think y'all are getting worked up over nothing. No one will look at you strangely for being dressed up.

Phew! You're right! :teeth: :teeth:

Forgive me if I am not allowed to ask for some reason....
but if anyone doesn't need their Oct. 31st tickets can you please pm me?
Like I have posted before, I am sooooo desperate for my friend. She needs these tickets. She told her 5 year old all about the party but had not bought the tickets yet. She didn't think they would sell out so fast, like us all!
We are going the same time and had planned on taking our kids together, now everyone is bummed. We would be very appreciative to get anything at this point.
TIA!
:)

Me? Get worked up? Awww, never! ;)

No really, I started thinking well, ya, maybe the percentage of DISers would dress up, but that really doesn't represent the majority of people attending.

I've already paid to have my costume custom made. I'm not backing out now...

But, I am dreading that bus ride and walking thru the resort!

We did not dress up last year and missed some of the fun. We will be dressing up this year. Also adds to the kid's fun.

So you're saying its really not that croweded even though its sold out? I hope you're right. I wish I knew how many tickets they actually sell for this event. Sigh.....here's hoping to no long lines. DS (8) will probably be tired as it is (bedtime usually 9:00) and if he has to wait on long lines it will defintely be a fright night for me!! LOL!

I'm actually thinking about starting a new thread with costume ideas. Everyone that I know that's going is dressing up. Especially on the 31st. I want to come up with something really creative but having a hard time with it. If anyone has any ideas, please post.

Hi! We leave for DW in 5 days! This will be our 1st trip. It's just the kids and I as my DH chose to stay home and work. We'll be there for a week at the CBR. Just need to book transportation from the airport.

Now, we have 3 DW trips planned this year! The trip with just the kids Aug/Sept, Oct/Nov MNSSHP, and December MVMCP 12/17... By the end of the year, we would have spent 22 days at DW!!!

I really need to get December's trip right. We're spending 11 nights there through Christmas. WL is where we have booked our stay for all 11 N. I may change that though and book closer to Epcot towards the end of our trip. (last 3 N) I'm thinking of Boardwalk Inn or Beach Club.

Just wanted to share!

Here is what my DD and DS will be at MNNSHP on the 31st.

If anyone needs tickets for party on Oct 14, please pm me. My family was planning to go that weekend but I will have to be out of the country. I have 2 adults and 2 children. Thank you.

::yes::

There'll be 3 of us, all adults, and we'll be dressed up. :D Still working out our costumes, though.

We went to MNSSHP last 31 October which was sold out and it was NOT busy! We rode Splash Mountain a few times in a row without even getting off the log! The longest we had to wait, as far as I can remember, was 15 mins which was for Mickey's Philharmagic (which was quite new at the time). We didnt dress up and felt the 'odd ones out', so will definitely be dressing up this year. We are going on 31st and can't wait! ENJOY :wave2:
