Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

Dznydreams-- We too are booked at LTT for 5:15 p.m. on 10/8. I bought the mnsshp tickets (not here yet) the day they went on sale.

Haven't seen many others going 10/8 -- could we be in luck with smaller crowds? :jester: (OK, I won't count on that!)

My soon to be 7-yr-old DS is going to dress as Sorcerer Mickey (we got the hat last trip), and soon to be 5-yr-old DS will be Peter Pan. My mom is a sewing whiz and is making the costumes. She actually is coming too. She says she's going to wear her Minnie Mouse T-shirt and maybe get some ears. :earsgirl: And she's way ahead of DH and me -- I may just wear a Halloween T-shirt as DH doesn't seem to be playing the costume game.

You guys are wonderful, and I am glad I asked.

I called and spoke to a wonderfully nice lady at ticket services who informed me that I was indeed told incorrectly - she even said she wanted to scream as this wasn't the first time this had happened. She was so :confused3 as to why they are telling people this - so she is going to check with someone to get it straightened out.

She looked up my record, and the person I spoke with had me down for tickets for the 17th, and we had infact wanted the 22nd - thought it would be the perfect ending to our vacation since we are leaving on the 23rd.

So, she changed it for me and all is once again well :flower:

I even checked to see if LTT was available for the 22nd, and was given several different times, but chose 5:05pm - I am just so excited now :hyper: , as I figured LTT would be booked by now.

Thank you again, and I am SO glad I had called - she said that my tickets were getting ready to be shipped soon, so it was a close one! :scared: I was panicky there for a bit!!

I'm so glad you were able to work it all out!!!

This is very scary that mistaken info such as this with the tickets gets passed along -- we're very fortunate to have these boards so we can clarify what we're told, and know when to question it! I feel very sorry for the people who have no other info sources and rather justly rely on the info they're given.

I know there are many excellent CM's who really know their stuff, but with regard to those who are not well-trained, or who guess...This isn't the kind of scary Halloween should be!

I've never been there during this and will be this year. Since I don't have any children I think it will be a waste of $ for DBF and I to pay to attend so here is my question.... is the MK still open during this, or are the rides that were previously mentioned only open for those people who have purchased MNSSHP tickets?
Thanks!

No, it is only open for those who purchase the tickets. You will be escorted out and the place should be cleared of non-party guests by 7:00p.

Those who are attending will get wristbands so they know who to escort out.

::yes:: lasmickey the date was printed on the back in black

I'm so sad. I'm going to Orlando with my son for a conference 10/13-10/17. The only night we can do MNSSHP is 10/14, however we have an opportunity to go to a free reserved night at Universal that night. My question is, any chance of them adding Friday 10/15 as an extra night?
Thanks in advance!
Mikki

Hi,

I have a question. If I decide to NOT use my Park Hopper to enter the park before 4pm, and just use my MNSSHP tickets that day, what other things would you suggest to do that day? Things outside of the parks, that is. I don't know if we'll do this - how can we go all the way there and NOT go to the parks until 4??? - but I want to explore all my options.

Thanks for your input!

Hi, jtjarvis! We can always "wish upon a star" for light crowds. However, given that it's the Friday before Columbus Day, I'm sure we won't be so lucky. :crowded: It won't matter though, we'll all have a BLAST! :thewave:

I'm sure DH will not want to wear a costume, but I'M trying to work up my nerve to do so. As soon as our costumes are confirmed, I'll let you know so we can all keep an eye out for each other...maybe we'll get a chance to say "howdy." :grouphug:

Hi, I ordered my tix for the 31st on the second day that they were selling them. I didn't get them in the mail yet, but will call tonite. Still trying to decide if we'll go to the party on the 29th too** This is going to be so much fun! Still working on DH to wear a costume with us**

Cool Diane — let me know about your costumes (AND if you venture out on your own! Maybe that'll inspire/motivate me! :jester: ) Let's try to compare notes and we can "howdy" at LTT—

Hi KC - There's a lot you could do beforehand - there's the waterparks, Downtown Disney & Disney Quest that would allow you to have a fun disney day before MNSSHP. That way you aren't wasting a park hopper on the parks during the day.

We're planning on doing either DQ or a waterpark for a few hours in the am, getting the kids back for a nap (which I'm sure they'll fight) and then head off to the park by 4 for 8 hours of halloween fun!

:)

That is exactly what we're doing as well, Ramsey Trio...I have two girls, 5 & 8, and we are going to either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach (first time for a water park) as soon as they open. Then we will stay there for 2-3 hours, go home and take a nap, and head to the MK at 4:00....hopefully, that will energize us enough to stay til midnight and not burn a day on the hopper!

Will do :) Look out for The Addams Family with British accents! ;)

Jo

We're also going on the 26th but not yet booked. How much did you pay to have your tickets shipped to UK and was there an option to collect them when you got to WDW?
