Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Central 2004!!!!!! =0)

In past MNSSHP, has Jack Skellington character been out at all or in parade? DD and I love NBC. We're not dressing up but will get Nightmare shirts and DD wants the Sandy Claws hat

I posted this on the community board but I'm posting here too...

My friend and her daughter will be joining us down in Disney for a few days and we want her to join us for the party on the 31st...however, the 31st is officially sold out.

Any suggestions on how to find tickets at this stage in the game? I checked eBay and will continue checking eBay but do ticket brokers sell tickets for the parties? Any ideas?

Hi everyone!

We finally made our PS at LTT during MNSSHP on Oct. 17. We'll be at LTT at 6:55, it's our first time there so we're really excited!

Can't wait to meet everyone!!!!

:grouphug:

when the party starts and you have LTT ressies....are you going back to Main St to start the party? Is the location better to be at CP for startign the party?

Depending on when you finish your meal you will either stay in front of LTT till 7:00p or you'll be asked to go to Tomorrowland to wait for 7:00p.

I finished all my party meals that I went to by 6:40p - 6:50p and all those times had to stay in front of the restaurant.

That was a good question -
If we are eating at LTT, should we go back towards Main Street during the party? Is there any reason to get back over there at the start or should we just go ahead with the rides until the parade and fireworks start?

Also, any thoughts on the river boat? Is this worth our time and will there be lines for this?

Thanks!

Just to preface this~ this is our very first trip ever to Disney! We are so excited!! And I had never even heard of this party. I wanted to ask you guys (since you all seem so excited about the party) if it is worth the expense for three people on a budget. We are doing the land and sea package and are trying to save money so I can get the seaweed wrap spa treatment (which is about $180). So the extra $60 or so would kind of put a crimp in our plans especially if all you get is an extra fireworks show and some candy (although looking through this post it seems like good candy!::yes:: )

So, can you guys let me know if you think it is worth it for me to do it? Plus, with it being at night, after a hard day I am not sure that the kids will be up to it!

Thanks! Ya'll are the best!

Can't wait~ a month and a half left!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

It's the 20th for us! I'm going as Indiana Jones. I don't think my wife will dress up, but I'm working on her.

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Sharon what are nightmare shirts? My dh refuses to dress up so i'm trying to find us atleast some festive shirts. My girls are buzz, and sleeping beauty so looking like a group is out of the question. Any good links to festive halloween shirts perferably disney related ones?

First, I apologize if this has already been asked and answered. We are trying to reschedule our trip from this week and it looks like we might be there in October. Does anyone know whether dates such as October 12th or 14th (Tuesday and Thursday) usually sell out? I am gun shy about spending any more money that is nonrefundable after dealing with Frances.

I hope to get my reservations set tomorrow. Then, I can start reading this thread to plan for our rescheduled trip.

Thanks!

We have tickets to the Oct 1 MNSSHP!! Our trip is 9/25-10/2. It will be our last night in the parks. (The next day our flight doesn't leave until evening, and we're spending the day at downtown Disney.)

Our challenge: convincing 4.5 yr old DS that he needs a "cool" Halloween costume for warm, sunny Florida. And we'll probably need a different costume for trick-or-treating in Iowa, where you always freeze your tail off. I think a Halloween party on 10/1 will be a little confusing for him, so I told him Micky's having a "pretend" Halloween party! I want us all to go as pirates (DH, my sister, DS and me!)

Still trying to figure out where to eat before/during the party. We're hoping to get in early, too...around 4 or 5 pm that day.

My BF and I will be at the Oct 1 party too :D

We're hopefully going as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell. So far I only have the shoes for my costume, waiting for the rest to get in stock or I'll have to get crafty hehe. All BF needs is a hat.

we'll be there from sept 30 - Oct 4

So SparKeLLy -- You'll be the couple streaking through the MK wearing just a hat and shoes? :o
