Mickey's Mart Question

I've never been DTD. We are going to WDW in January and I saw in a book that Mickey's Mart is a store where everything is $10 or less? What kind of stuff do they have? Is there clothes or is it mostly trinket stuff? Just looking for the bargins.

Its not all trinkets, although some of it is. We have seen shirts, pajamas, beach towels and other larger items there. Its touch and go as far as getting a deal, but sometimes you get lucky.

I Love Mickey Mart- its always my first stop for shopping, They have an area where they have 4 for $10. I have gotten alot of Christmas decorations there.

Most of the stuff is just the regular under $10.00 stuff that you find at every other store....antena toppers- $4.99, Princess Dominos- $9.99, etc. They just put it all into one store (but it's not really a bargain). However, the 4 for $10.00 section is great! I just bought 4 of the little notepad/pencil combos in Princess and Minnie. I think they were something like $5.00 each normally, so that was a good deal. Or they also had discontinued christmas garland that was normally $5.00 each or coloring books that were $4.99 or $6.99 normally. The best one was a paper, scissors, ruler, eraser, pencil, tape and stapler set in a little "suitcase" type box- I think it was $6.00 or $8.00 normally, so the $2.50 price was like finding GOLD! If you can get that kind of stuff, it's a really good deal (for disney that is). It was really good for the kids though because I spent thirty bucks and got them each 6 things...and for a 2 1/2 and 6 year old, Minnie paper and especially the desk set (stapler, scissors, etc.) was a total score! Forget about the $35.00 Hannah Montana sweatshirt that we bought or the $60.00 Belle dress (and another $60.00 in Belle accessories!).

Mickey's Mart is right in the string of stores that runs in front of Rainforest Cafe. There is Disney Tails, Pooh Corner, Goofys Candy Co and Mickey's Mart all in a row.
