sorry cant remember the abbreviations for it lol

i see there are a few nights of this when i go in sept-oct.

and ive worked out that its an extra ticket for the event, whare do i find out about them, and how much extra is that (in reality i doupt i can afford or justify buying them)

and if we dont buy them i take it the park will close a lot earlier to us, how does it all work

thanks

All the information is here:
http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/halloween.htm

I guess the amount you have to pay extra depends on your budget and the type of tickets you have. If you have an unlimited park ticket, then it's going to be an extra cost. If you get the MYW tickets, then you could just get one day less on the ticket, and then use the MNSSHP to make up the extra day. We have 14-day unlimited ticket, but we are still going to the MNSSHP - the limited number of people in the park makes up for the extra cost. Walk on rides are so hard to come by, even during the really quiet times.

On days of parties, MK closes at 7pm to the general public. Wristbands are handed out to everyone who enters the park with a party ticket, and therefore can be told apart from the general public. If you have no wristband and are in the park after 7pm, you will not be able to buy anything, ride anything, do much. If a CM sees you without a wristband, you will be asked to leave, and on occasion escorted to the exit.

thanks for the info

i should say that i have no problem leaving if i dont get tickets, to behonest i mostly plan on doing parks in the morningss till afternoon but having never been well see what happens its just that im struggling to pay the last few £100's to the holiday not a lot, but things like mot,s and a month full of birthdays are taking up spare cash

im sure the party experience is great but im guessing it wont ruin our holiday if we cant do it

Unless you plan on doing the parties close to Halloween, you can leave it to pretty much a couple of days before the one you want to go to. It's slightly cheaper to book in advance, but as long as the party is not sold out, you can buy on the day, but just pay a little more. So if you plan on going to one at the beginning of your holiday, which will be quieter, you can leave it until much later to make a decision about it - maybe even on the day. :)

You won't loose anything by not going, but it's a whole new adventure if you do decide to go.

Just for info the Tickets are $55 plus tax, there are some advance purchase discount nights where the price is @$6 cheaper but these tend to be during the week.If you go onto www.waltdisneyworld.com then events then scroll to MNSSHP there is a list of these dates. At the minute you can book by phone but online booking should be available soon,it only cost us $3 to have the tickets posted & they were here within a week!
HTH SD:thumbsup2

you know i think ill have to miss out this year, for your tickets im am paying £835 3 adults well one child but over 9 and 2 kids i really cant justify it as of now i still dont know what spending money ill have lol.

anyway thanks for the info

Do you need to buy the tickets well in advance, or are they likely to still be available in Oct?

I think the ones closest to and including Halloween will be almost sold out, if not completely sold out. The beginning of October will no doubt be busier than the September ones, but doubt it will be that busy. You can alway call in advance and book. Alternatively, you could also call and book a week or so before you leave and just pick the tickets up at guest services. Not done the MNSSHP before, but I'm sure there are others who can confirm/deny what I just said.

Bunsie as Twilights says, the nights closest & including Halloween have been known to sell out, other than that you should be able to pick them up whilst you are there. In the past you used to get an advance booking discount but this year that is only for certain nights. We normally order ours when they become available (ours were delivered on Tuesday!:goodvibes ) as we like to have everything pre-paid so that any money we take is for spending money. All I can says is that it really is a great night & you will struggle to fit eveything in!

Im still undecided at the moment, its quite a lot of money although i have been told that it will be worth it. If we did go i would pre-book just so we know what we are up to that day

Lensgirl if you go onto Youtube & do a search for MNSSHP,there are a couple of videos of the parade. The way we look at it is that we won't be back for a while (although we said that 2 years ago!:rotfl2: ) because DS is at High School,we will also be going to HHN & HOS,which will basically mean living on beans on toast from now until we leave!I see that you arrive a day after us so you could wait until you get there & see how things are going, because WDW has added alot more dates I would be surprised if the early dates sell out.

Thanks for the advice. :thumbsup2 Think I might book some as a surprise. ;) The kids were horrified to think we wouldn't be at home for Halloween this year. :confused3 D'uh! We're going to be in Orlando. I know which one I'd prefer!! :lmao:
