Mickey's Halloween Party Question!

We went to MHP on Tuesday (10/11). I thought that the lines for the rides and the treat stations were manageable, but the lines for character pictures were ridiculous! MY DS was so disappointed because the only pic she really wanted was with Jack & Sally - the line was over an hour long all night.

So here's my question: If we go back (we have APs), can we stay until the party starts and just get a picture? Obviously we won't have wristbands and we don't plan on riding any rides or getting treats either. Just the picture. Anyone know?

No you can't do anything after the party starts. BUT Jack and Sally have been in the park during regular park hours in years past, so hopefully someone can give you more info on if they've been out this year.

I didn't see Sally out during the day, but Jack Skellington was out by the Haunted Mansion during the day. We saw him in the area between the French Market and the HM most times, but he was in New Orleans Square by the Christmas shop once. We saw him on a weekend trip (Fri, Sat, and Sun), so I don't know if he was out during the weekdays.

This last weekend (Oct 8-9) Jack and Sally were out on and off all day. They were at that really pretty staircase behind Club 33. We flew across the country to meet them so we were going to find them!! (Of course, Sally went to lunch just as we got close. ) At the Halloween party on the 8th only Jack was out everytime we went by.

That's how the line for the 7 dwarves was last year at WDW at their Halloween party. Fortunately, we knew in advance that would be the case, so we went and got in line about an hour before the party and we were still far enough back that we had a 20 minute wait once they got there! But, we didn't lose an hour of party time waiting. I have the same plan in mind for Jack and Sally this year.....

If you see one of them out, just ask the CM that is with them what the schedule is. That is what we did and she gave us the times for the rest of the day that we could see Jack, Sally or both together.

Do they have special Halloween autograph books at the park? That would be nice.

Thanks for the heads up. My daughter wants to meet Jack and Sally more than anyone so I guess we will be lining up early! We go to the party on Tuesday.
