Mickey's Classic Cake

Hi,
Has anyone ever ordered a birthday (or whatever occasion) cake from Disney to have at one of the Disney restaurants?

I'm thinking about having a cake for my DD at Minnie's Breakfast, but would like to know how it tastes. Is it worth the $33, or would it be better to just do the mini piece of cake?

Also, would we be able to have any leftover cake saved somewhere for us to pick up later? Unfortunately, we are staying off site, so can't easily take it back to the room and I don't really want to carry it around with us all day.

I bought one for my daughter's birthday and it was delicious. For me, I felt it was absolutely worth it. We picked it up at Goofy's kitchen and took it with us when we left for the day.
