Is this worth the money? It is for 1.5 hours and it doesn't seem like that huge selection of food. It would cost about 170 for 5 of us (kids ages 10,6,4). We don't drink so not like we would be getting something out of that.
Let me know your thoughts....thanks

My vote would be "No"...we did this last year. I should start off saying that DD did have fun dancing but overall I don't think it was worth the $$$ at all. You sit at big long picnic tables and there is no waitstaff (despite the fact that you pay an 18% gratuity!). The food is okay at best (DH thought it was okay, I thought it was lousy). Best part was the pre packaged ice-cream for dessert! DH does drink beer so took advantage of that. I drank the "bug juice" that they had for the kids! The dance floor gets really chaotic when the charactes arrive and it's a mad rush from all the kids. Also, unless you are staying at FW...it's kinda a pain to get there. For instance, we had to take a bus from AKL to AK, then another bus to FW, then another bus AROUND FW, then still had a walk to the place where the event was held. The highlight of the whole night was that we took the boat back to MK (and then MK-AKL). We had never taken the boat and it was really pretty (and some nice downtime after all that dancing).

We had it booked, and then I read some posts on here that made me re-think it...b/c I have a 2.5yo and we aren't much into line dancing and country music! Then I looked at other menus of character dining and we decided on Chef Mickey! Maybe try to search it up above, for more info..that's what I did!

Good Luck!

Ya, we are also not country music or line dancing fans. Should have mentioned that in my previous post. There wasn't any real "line dancing" because of the mad rush of kids. But there was plenty of country music. If you are looking for a nice character meals...there are plenty of better, cheaper ones to pick from.

DH and I did have a great time celebrating an anniversary here. The BBQ serves food much like HDD, but is in buffet lines and you sit at picnic tables. There was line dancing, roping, and character meets when we were there. I prefer HDD, but this was also fun.
