Mickey's Backyard BBQ - Question

I am very confused. I just made a reservation for this show based upon Disney's explanation of the show. "Frolic with Mickey, Minnie and Friends at this neighborly outdoor picnic in the middle of the covered, open-air Pavilion at Fort Wilderness." "Mickey's Backyard BBQ Dinner Show is an all-you-care-to-eat Disney Character dance party with live entertainment at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground." It sounds like alot of fun. Now for the confusion. After making the reservation and getting my confirmation numer, the print out states " Time: 06:00PM Dinner(does not include Characters) What does this mean. I am very confused. Can anyone shed some light. I have used the call center in the past and obtained wrong answers. I know the Disers will know... TIA

I believe it may be worded that way because you do not get individual meet&greet/photos with the characters. They come and dance as a group on stage, and the kids get to dance, but they don't come around to each table.

My call to Disney Dining resulted in the discovery that the food will be different, a Thanksgiving version. I am fine with the food change. But, I am still worried about the (does not include Characters) part. The call center stated that it always has characters. Then, why does the confirmation state does not include characters... I hope your answer is correct... Thanks
