:confused3 Has anyone else noticed the disappearance of Mickey Waffles at breakfast locations? We have stayed at Wlderness Villas and BCV and neither place had waffles. I hope they are not disappearing!!! What a great waty to start the day!!:scared1:

that is strange BCV use to have the Mickey's waffles in the child section - but you know last time the kids section was gone.

We were there in June and had them just about every morning for breakfast. I hope they aren't gone, I likes my waffles :)

We did all Grand Gathering and/or Character Breakfasts in June so maybe they have relegated them to the those special breakfast situations only.

They had them at the CS reataurant at SSR over Labor Day weekend. Mini ones for the kids and larger ones for the "adults".

They're alive and well at Artist Pallette in SSR, as of 10 days ago!

We had them in early June at the restaurant formerly known as the Yacht Club Galley (sorry, I can't remember its new name). We had the breakfast buffet and there were Mickey waffles. It was the first time I've seen them out on the buffet. You used to have to ask for them and they would bring you a few on a plate at no extra charge. Now you don't have to ask -- they are right there on the buffet!

You can try doing a Google search. I found several but they were all discontinued. I think there might have been a recall on some of them too.

You may have luck on ebay as the original Belgian mickey-waffler was discontinued a couple of years ago. They replaced it with a flat waffler, which isn't the same as the Belgian-style waffles they sell at wdw resorts. As much as I love the look of a mickey waffle, nothing substitutes for my $70.00 Belgian waffler ;)

That's the good one! :headache:

The picture doesn't look like the good one... I think thats the "newer" one.

I am definitely looking for the Belgian style waffles sold in the resort - large or small version. I checked ebay and none are listed - even under the completed items :(

I LOOOOVE Mickey Belgian Waffles... the wife would kill for some (she's 6 months pregnant...) Luckily we live close enough to go several times a year! We're going back in less than 2 weeks! :dance3:

By the way - completely off topic - but had Earl of Sandwich for the first time this weekend... they're bread is excellent! :thumbsup2

They had them at the Cape May Cafe character breakfast during our early September, 2008 stay.
