Cooking Mickey waffle iron

A few years ago I saw Mickey waffle irons in DTD. They seem to have disappeared. Are they for sale anymore?

The online Disney Store doesn't have a waffle maker per se. They do have a "Tasty Baker" with Princess or Mickey designs. They retail for $49.95 + SH and tax. Just look under the category Home & Decor and subcategory Kitchen Essentials. (Don't know if we can post the link...)

I use to have one... more like a pancake than a waffle. I think we ended up giving it away. sorry!

I think my mom has one...I am pretty sure she got it outside of DTD...maybe Bed Bath and Beyond...but a while ago...sorry...

I just saw some being sold on Ebay, Amazon has one call then and now and makes an old Mickey and a new Mickey and they also have Princess waffle makers...

I bought mine about 3 yrs. ago at an online kitchen store-don't remember the name. I love mine. We make pancakes-4 at a time. My DD3 says we have to take it to the condo w/ us for our June trip.

The company that made the Mickey waffle irons was Villaware. My original one shorted out and I looked on their website to see if there was any way to get one. (This was about 2 years ago...)

I ended up getting one on ebay.

A company that used to make them was called Villaware. They recently stopped making them, but sold their extra product to discount stores. Around New England you can purchase them @ stores like Ocean State Job Lot, Christmas Tree Shoppe and Big Lots. The company has a website, so maybe you could call them and see if they could tell you where to look for one in your area. Good Luck!!

We also got this one as a gift three years ago - we love it The waffles are perfect, not too thick and not too thin.

Villaware stopped making/selling them because there was a problem with the wiring that caused them to short out. There are other Disney ones for sale, but the Mickey head ones are not being made/sold at this time.

i have the one from dtd i got it on our honeymoon - 12 yeras ago - use it almost every weekend still adn WORKS GREAT!!! makes the one big mickey waffle. Would love to get the one that makes the mini mickey waffles. Last year i looked at DTD becuase we wanted to buy one for work and they werent carring them anymore. I got a cinderella carrage one at ocean state job lot last year. works good too but not sure how long it will last - doesnt seem to be the same quality of the mickey one.
sorry i cant help. i wouldnt give mine up and will have a meltdown when it finally dies.
