I am looking for something that will cut the Mickey ears into paper.

I have the smaller little "hole punch" but we need to cut LARGE size ears.

We want our programs to be kinda like this....

Anyone know what we can use to cut the shape?

I rember back in middle school. The teachers used this press thing with different "stamps" that cut letters and shapes out of paper. Not sure if there is anything like that for Mickey ears.

Thanks

I have seen smaller paper punches with mickey icons on ebay, but not that big.
If you cannot get one, you could always get the smaller one and run it all along the edge like I did with my thank you notes.

The thing they use in school's is very expensive.. some local/independent scrapbooking shops have them.. but I don't think I have ever seen just a mickey head. I think some have a mickeyhead balloon thing, but it's probably not what you are looking for.

The largest regular punch is only about 1.5-2 inches. My advice would be to look for the mickey head cookie cutter from wdw, comes in blue or red.. it might be just about the right size. You would have to trace and cut, yourself.. but that may be your best option. You can check on ebay, call Disney Merch (407-363-8624) or I leave for wdw tonight and can pick one up for you - I'll send you a pm with my email address, just let me know.

Alternatively have you seen the mickeyhead invitations you can get? They are premade

Thanks for the advice and offer to pick them up fo rme. I'll have to hold off for right now since $$$ is tight.

I seen the invites you posted, but my fiance didn't like them.

We got over a year so not in a huge rush.

Thanks Again.

Oh the wonderful Ellison machine....my mom is a teacher, they do not have mickeys though, I wish they did- I was just thinking about that the other day- Good Luck, I am sure others would love to know if you find this

now this might not be very helpful at all :confused3 but could be a starting point for you?
Whenever I place an order from mousememories.com in Kissimmee they always include a few 'positive' images of Mickey's head that is quite large - maybe 2 1/2"+ wide and cut in lots of different papers. So....if there is a 'positive' there must also be the negative that you require.
Try contacting them and see if they can give you a next step.

Good Luck and let us know when you get sorted, as I'm also kind of interested in this idea too.

there isn't anything that will cut that big a mickey...the largest is the "whale of a punch" and you wouldn't be able to get it in the center of the page (I think I now have every size mickey icon punch!)

Anyway, it would be tedious, but you can use an xacto circle cutter to cut nice circles. It is like a compass, but instead of having a pencil at the end, it has a small xacto blade:

or any circle cutter, really. Just mark off your circles (centerpoints should be fine) and go to town...

good luck! :)

We went the lazy direction, instead of cutting out the Mickey...we two tones the fist page (it was our welcome letter)...so that the paper was gray and the Mickey was a faint white....you could see it clearly if you where looking for it....

Other wise homedepot has those paint colors on Mickey shapes...if you have one around you could just trace those

My mom is a teacher and a teacher fried of hers who is the queen of crafts was telling me yesterday that she had a circle di cut that is adjustable and you could just do 3 circles, anyone know what I am talking about?

Check and see if your local scrapbooking store as a pazzel machine...they can program a machine to do just about anything you want & I dont see how 3 circles would be that hard...

If you cant find a local scrapbook store that will customize....check out this website and email the owner-I know her personally and I am sure she would be more than accomodating...
