Is Stitch still doing the wake-up call with Mickey?I am not a Stitch fan.I am hoping they will go back to just Mickey.Thanks. :)

I'm not a fan of Stitch either, but I was hysterical when I heard that message during my trip in March!

Ugh, yeah it is still him. I call that a RUDE awakening. Mickey takes over after a few seconds though.

I wish they'd go back to the old one, or if they really want someone other than Mickey, why Stitch? Goofy would be nice, or Minnie, Donald also.

Stitch id just TOO annoying first thing in the morning.

I saw a post here a while back that listed which characters did the wake up calls and what times. I don't know if you can find it by doing a search or not. Give it a try!

I like having Mickey call, so I'd like to be sure and check out that list again before I go in October.

It was Stitch on Aug. 13th at 6:30 DS9 loved it, but then again he loved the ride also.

Did anyone hear Stitch in the girls restrooms he was looking for Lilo? I heard him in the one next to the Frontierland Shootin Arcade. It made me look for him at first. I got a good laugh and so did DH and DS when I told them.

What does Stitch say on the wake-up call?I never could understand him.I didn't know they had different characters at different times.I had wake-up calls at several different times of the day and always got Mickey and Stitch. My favorite is the first one I heard on my first stay at WDW where Mickey just says it is time to get up because "there's big doins' going on"!What memories! :earsboy:

I was there in August, and it was still Stitch. Can't remember what Stitch said, but Mickey interrupte him and appologized. It was ok, but not as cool as just Mickey.

I can't remember where, but I read somewhere that if you get an off-time wake up call, like at 7:03 instead of 7:00, you are more likely to get a Mickey call. It's worth a try! ::MickeyMo

I'm pretty sure he says something like "No sleeping!!" and then laughs and says stuff in Stitch language before Mickey takes over and apologizes, he's so well mannered :rotfl2:

I'm a very big Stitch fan (although I also hated the ride) and I thought the first day I got the wake-up call that it was pretty funny....although after 7 days of it.....it got a little annoying :earboy2:

My hubby and I loved the Stitch wake-up call and really hope it's still there in December :)

I don't really remember any of the wake-up calls...I'm always still half asleep, lol :rotfl: But, really, though....I've never heard the Stitch wake up call before, because we haven't gone to Disney in over a year. I'm a stitch fan, also, so it might be cute, but I might get tired of hearing is voice THAT early in the morning after a couple of days of answering the phone...

Stitch woke me up yesterday (8/26) at BWV. I wrote to Disney complaining about Stitch and asking them to bring back Mickey. I thought I was nice about it, saying Mickey was so happy and he really made me glad to be there when he called me "Pal"and how I really did want to get "up and at 'em", but Stitch sounded like a grump and made me feel like a grump. It didn't work though-I guess Disney just thought I was some crazy lady or something.

Simbas mom, I totally agree with you about the call. I loved it :earsgirl: pirate: ::MinnieMo when Mickey called me pal! All this Stitch business is getting on my nerves already.

I couldn't understand why the park was so overwhelmed with Stitch until we saw him a Lilo at MGM. The line went from about 15 for Chip and Dale to all the way across the courtyard. It was longer than Mickey's. Kids love him, and now I know why (he's an Elvis fan).

I'm a Stitch lover myself....I love the wake-up call. I believe he says "NO SLEEPING! GET MOVING!" Then Mickey breaks in and basically advertises the Stitch attraction at MK. ;)

I did like the Mickey wake-up call too, though. It was the first one DH ever heard, and sometimes he still wakes me up in the morning by saying "Up and at 'em, pal!"

I read that too, and tried it in August. I tried 7:02 - Stitch, 7:04 - Stitch, 7:08 - Stitch..... you get the picture.

I thought that was such a cute idea to be able to pick out who will wake you up...

Oh well... I guess with all bad press the Stitch ride gets, they have to advertise that he's in MK.

I totally agree....go back to just Mickey, it's pure classic.

We aren't Stitch fans to begin with and it was really annoying having to listen to him. I'm glad we did get Mickey after a moment but please, get rid of Stitch.
