Some friends of mine are planning a return trip to WDW. One of the reasons they like staying at CBR is for the Mickey Mouse waffles they can get at breakfast. CBR is not available for the time they want to go. (?) They were asking me if I know if any other resort serves MM waffles, to see if they can book there instead. John REALLY likes his MM waffles!

I believe all the resorts have them, I know they taste better, because they are shaped like mickey :goodvibes

I too am a lover of Mickey waffles and could probably eat a dozen (but I don't!!); the little ones are in luck as almost every breakfast location offers them on their menu! Below are the resort QS locations that come to mind but I'll probably forget one or two!

QS:
  • All Star Resorts food courts
  • Sassagoula Floatworks at POFQ
  • Riverside Mill at POR
  • Captain Cooks at the Poly
  • Gasparilla Grill at the GF
  • The Mara at AKL
  • Roraring Fork at WL
  • Contempo Cafe at CR

As far as TS is concerned, almost all restaurants and especially buffets offer the famous Mickey waffles!

Yep. At POFQ, you get a small Mickey waffle as part of the Bounty Platter (w/ eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage & biscuit), or you can order a large Mickey waffle with fruit and choice of bacon or sausage.

If you are looking for a non-character TS buffet, I really enjoyed Captain's Grille at the YC. They had the small Mickey waffles on the buffet.

Love me some Mickey waffles! :goodvibes

Edit: And if they're looking for another Moderate resort, I really loved POFQ. I would take a good look at both POFQ and POR and see which appeals to them; I don't think you could go wrong with either one.

We had the Mickey waffles on the bounty platter during both stays at POFQ an POR. We loved the bounty platter - counts as a meal on the dining plan so we got one and split it with our kids. Everybody only wanted a little bit so it split perfectly. My son loved his waffle!
Staying at WL in a few weeks and can't wait to have those waffles again!
