My second trip to Disney was in May, and we grabbed a couple of Mickey Mouse bath and facial soaps...we happen to love the smell. Since we left and we ran out of soap we have been trying to figure out what company makes the soap and if we can buy the soap (without the Disney Customizations) in stores?

Anyone know what kind of soap it is?:headache:

Its the soap in the black cardboard that says, "Everybody neat and pretty..."

are they light blue? If so I was just on allearsnet.com you can read all about the soaps on todays newsletter.

No it is the standard white soap...i've found a whole bunch of em on Ebay...however I'd rather just buy the standard version in a store if i can find out what company made it...i heard something that it might be cameron boutique but i havent been able to locate a bar to smell it haha...im obsessed with the soap....

The box is black with a picture of Mickey Mouse holding the soap, and it has a yellow bubble on it that says, "EVERYBODY NEAT AND PRETTY? THEN ON WITH THE SHOW!"

The soap itself is white, it is the standard soaps you get at most of the resorts, Ive gotten it at CB and All Star Sports.

It might be hard to find as Disney has changed their soap. It no longer comes in a black box and there are some other differences I can't think of right off the bat.

I know exactly what you are talking about...............I LOVE this soap too and was wondering who makes it. I leave in 15 days and can't wait to get more.

WHAT!?!?!?!? They changed their soap? I'm very "scent-sensitive" (there are a gazillion scents that make me sick!), but the Mickey soap is something that isn't too bad for me. And the kids love it! Last year Mousekeeping left a whole bunch for us and we're still using it. Man, I hope the new scent isn't horrible.

It doesn't smell like Ivory soap to me.

Yeah when I was there in June (BWI) there was no more black box soap. POR had the same one we had as well. It is now round and wrapped in paper. It is cute- it has a mickey head stamped into the soap! it may be the same brand though...it is very mild like Ivory soap as one poster suggested.

Nope, no more soap in the yellow and black box. They've upgraded their toiletries, and are now using Disney-themed products from H20 Plus.

doesn't smell like ivory soap to me...but anyway, i called Guest Services, and there giving me a call tomorrow to let me know the brand.

I remembered reading this on another thread about 2 years ago so I found the post and copied it. I hope the OP does not mind.

Different resorts seem to use different products, as of my visit this month.
POR had more basic products, combo shampoo/conditioner, and so on.

CSR is using H2O Aquatics line of products as Lynne M mentioned above. You can order these, the bottles have a 1-800 number. I have to say the lotion this company makes is absolutely terrific! It's H20 Aquatics, and I'm hooked. I'll be calling
1-800-242-2264 to re-supply! (The Bath Soap is really great, too.)

They also have a website, h2oplus.com

I thought it was Ivory Soap.
Nope.

same here.
Nope.

It wasn't. I use Ivory. If I could, I'd use what Disney used to sell, but I have no idea where to get it.

Most of the hotels changed soaps quite a while back. It is this new H2O stuff. I don't think it works all that well and use my Ivory (so pure it floats!) instead. It doesn't have a bad or perfumey smell, though.

About a month ago, POR gave us a third soap. Not the old stuff, not the H2O stuff, different. I was only there a night, so I don't know what the deal is there.

Thanks for the info.

I was at Movies last week and had the new soap.

I am at Sports now and my room has the original Mickey soaps and shampoos.
