Hey guys! Can you buy Mickey Mouse ear hats (like the ones the mouseketeers wore) at WDW in adult size?
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they're one-size-fits-all. I've never seen sizes on the ears, at least.

Embarrassingly, I need lots of clips to keep the ears on my head. :o

I'm pretty sure they have 3 sizes. baby, kids and adults. MIL bought like 15 pair in October and was asked what sizes she needed them in.

Yes, you can still get them embroided, at certain places. That's what MIL did.

shelleyz, thanks....I'm so excited now, man the trip is coming fast.

does anyone know off hand what places will do the embroidery? We are gearing up for a last minute trip at the end of the month and can't wait! :)

I believe you can buy and embroider the hats at the Mad Hatter as well as the shop on Main Street on the right side as you look from the train station. I believe it is the first shop on the right.

Is the Mad Hatter the one over by Peter Pan? That's where we got ours for DS the last time we were there. They can whip those names out pretty fast too!!!:sunny:

Only Mk does the free lettering... MGM charges $6.00 per word. The other parks sell the hats but not with the names on them. They sell Infant/Children's/Adults and then also the Wedding ears in bride and groom. They are $7.00 for kids/ $10.00 for adults

The gift shop adjacent to Snow White's Scary Adventure also will embroider names for no cost.

So if we buy them at a store that doesn't embroider, can we bring them to a MK store and have it done? As of now we aren't planning on MK till our last day.

One thing to keep in mind if this is pertinent for you, Mad Hatter will not embroider nicknames because "they may be offensive to people from other countries" That is what I was told.

I learned this because I have a good friend who really only goes by her last name. I'd rather not put her last name online but it is a fairly unusal Finnish name but not offensive in anyway. She never goes by Lauren (which is her first name). So naturally I wanted to have her last name put on her mouse ears. She had always wanted mouse ears like that and I really could not understand what the problem was.

I had to speak to 2 managers at the store before they would put her last name on the ears.

I also know another guy who said when he went they wouldn't put what he wanted on the ears. I won't list his last name either, but he goes by "Raymo" which is an abbreviated form of his last name which is what everyone has called him since he was a kid.

I can't help but wonder what they do for people who just happen to have unusual first names?

I could see if you wanted to put a swear word on the hat them saying no, but saying no nicknames or last names whatsoever because they might translate into something offensive to people who don't speak English is just plain ridiculous, IMO.

tHERE IS ALSO A HAT CART ACROOS FROM lIBERTY bELLE rIVERBOATS THAT SELLS/EMBROIDERS MOUSE EARS.

The place that does them near the Snow White ride is Seven Dwarfs Mine. They do the embroidery for free.
