Mickey Moms Club Illuminations Party Invite

It looks like it's sold out, so if you haven't already RSVP'ed, then there's no need to extend your vacation for it.. which is a good thing and a bad thing, I guess?

I already rsvp'd yes and am looking into altering our arrangements to stay!:goodvibes

I'm wondering how many people actually did RSVP yes that won't go because they don't already have the plans....

I tried yesterday and they had stopped taking submissions. I am bummed.Oh well.

Since you went last year maybe you can help? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth extending our trip for this? Is it a sea of people (a large event), or is it small enough to consider it "special"?

It depends what you consider "special". Last year there was an assortment of desserts in one of the large building over past Canada. From there we were able to go to the "special viewing place" for Illuminations which was in between the twin gift shops. Lots of people were crammed into that little space and after Illuminations was over were were given a small "mickeymomsclub" gift. So if you willing to pay for another night and admission in to Epcot then I say got for it. If that's to much I wouldn't sweat missing it.

Wow, I am so glad to hear others saying they are able to go...and sad that others could not register for it...
I WISH I knew and had planned ahead as they said up to five and I "could" have included some DIS group in my list..so sorry that did not occur to me till now. When I got it I immediately rsvp'd........
I will take pix and post.......

YAY! DD (3) and I will be attending this, it's our 1st official Moms Club event. I look forward to meeting everyone there

We went...allegedly they had 1000 signed up, like 500-600 is what I heard they actually counted that evening, it was a rainy day/evening and perhaps people did not show at the party??:confused3.

Started with a check in in a building back past and behind Canada area, got a wristband for each person after checking off your name. Then you came back to same inside building area, ice cream carts were set up, bottled drink stations and Mickey Crispie Treat Stations....Large round tables with black cloths and white centerpieces with a candle lit on each. Tables held like 10 people. Many people sat with other guests they did not know, as did we. Nothing really "happened" My dh was a little disappointed since I dragged him there. He expected that they'd have some type of "game" fun something" to get people better acquainted...instead people just basically spoke to who they sat next too...They briefly welcomed everyone and then we left a bit earlier and walked back to area that they had marked off. As one exited they gave us each a small pink tote bag with the Mickey Moms Logo, a photo book, hand cleaner and this little silver tin that has tiny candles (6) inside. We also got a round magnet that has the logo. You walked by people outside that held up these red lights to "guide" you back to viewing area which was next to a gift shop in a closed off area to the public.
It was not mobbed and we enjoyed watching the show.
I did take pix, but have not uploaded yet...will try and post... :cheer2:
