Mickey, Minions & more. 2 week holiday. Updated 9/14 - FINAL THOUGHTS

Then I went outside. I thought this was pretty.

Then I saw this speeding by me.

Then I was on my way again. Anyone want to get married and party here?

I like this pic.

Then I was off again. I think I will stop here.

Up next,

The Poly…

Tea and your pictures from the GF look so nice! I can't believe the fruit plate! Fran said she would do tea if she could have that, but then she wanted the sticky buns too! :rotfl2:

The Villas look so pretty at Christmas. I go home there for my last night after this. Wah.

The GF villas looks so pretty! I walked by while we were there in March, but never went in the lobby.

I like this pic.

That is very pretty. I have only seen the Villas when they were under construction. I hope to get pictures of the finished product in July.

It's cool to time a GF stroll just right so you get to hear the musicians. ::yes::

Thanks.
You won;t be there long, it is really small but very nice.
Yes it is.

I too love that penguin fountain. Will have to check it out on our next trip.

The gingerbread house looked amazing. When we were last there at Christmastime we bought ginger snowflake ornaments. But they didn't last long enough to decorate our tree. So tasty!

This day starts off early for us. 7am we have to be at the pick up point for the tour. This day we are going to Switzerland. The tour begins with a 3 hour bus ride. Then we get on a train that goes up the Alps to St. Moritz where we get to look around for a bit and then we head back to Milan.

Here is the link to the tour. The pics look amazing and I cannot wait to take photos on here and also to get some Swiss chocolate.

We will then have dinner in Milan and then off to bed for an early rise.

Up next,

We change cities.

That Bernina Express is one of THE trains to take in Europe. Excellent! I'm looking forward to a ton of pictures. :thumbsup2

Had to spend some time getting caught up... Tea at GF looks like so much fun! I love that they went above & beyond on that fruit plate for you...It looks amazing! Almost too good to eat. :goodvibes I love that y'all really went all out on your resort hopping. I always plan on it, but then it seems too exhausting so we only end up at a couple. :rotfl:

Alps/Switzerland looks gorgeous. Can't wait to see those pics

Those fountains are both so neat! Thank you for those great VGF (and GF of course) shots. :thumbsup2

Before I post the next update I wanted to let you all know that the pics for Italy/Paris will be done a blog I am doing. It is a travel blog where I am posting all of my trips since 2005. Currently I am doing Texas from 2005 but soon Disney will be and London, Paris and Aruba. Also all the Disney trips I have taken from 2007 will be posted. I do hope you come by and follow me. I do not think I can post the tr for the Italy trip here because it really is not Disney except for 2 days at DLP. Anyway, here is the link.

Now onto the update…

Now I was continuing on my journey to here. POLY.

Looking over at the Contemporary.

Some of the greenery lit up.

Statue along the way. Is it for the luau?

The marina and I think the Castle lit up in the background.

Yeah! I made it.

Then I went inside. Some of these pics will seem off being this was before the reno they doing now.

I think I read they got rid of the art place. Not sure if I have that right but sad if they did.

Why hello there.

Happy Holidays to you…

With flash.

The waterfall. It will be missed but the photos I saw of the new design look like it really be nice.

Then I left. The decorations there were a little underwhelming. Maybe they did that because they knew they were getting ready to renovate the place.
I then went outside to grab the monorail to MK.

Even the monorail station was decorated.

Look what pulled up when I got there.

But wait. I decided to pass this and go elsewhere.

Up next,

Where did I go and coming soon a Dismeet.

I love the pics with the hotel reflections in the water. so pretty

BEautiful night time pictures, Scott. Love the ones of the resorts.

Seems like you are getting in a few DisMeets. :thumbsup2

So last we left off I was bypassing the Magic Kingdom and was continuing on and you probably I guessed I was going to the Contemporary. I saw this when I got there.

A CM was taking a photo for someone there (teen girls) but when I asked he walked away. I guess I wasn’t pretty enough. Oh and yes I reported him for rudeness.

Back to the decorations.

In the store there. Not the one in the middle.

I love this.

With a flash.

I do not know what these are or where they are except only in the Contemporary.

Lobby and check in.

Christmas tree in the lobby.

With flash.

Then I was done inside but I was not done yet. I wanted to see the tree on the outside I have seen from the bus.

This tree was crooked like the Epcot tree but you can also see the Castle in the pic.

Then I walked to the resort again. I chatted a few minutes with a CM about the tree.

Then back inside I went.

Now I was texting with a Dis’r to meet up and was told they were going to DTD so I said I could meet them there.

Up next,

Everything is coming up Rosie…
