This day is our first park day. We got ready and maybe had breakfast (I do not remember) in the room and we were on our way. Here is Vinny waiting for the elevator.


We got to the park really quick and we paid for preferred parking $22.00 so we didn’t have to walk to far. Here was our parking location.


Now let’s stroll to the entrance.


Vinny and Renee used the moving sidewalks but I walked alongside. I was on a fitness kick.




Here we are approaching bag check. Not bad on this day.


The mini golf course located next to Citywalk. You will see more of this later.






We have arrived. Sorry for the blurriness but I took them on the go.


Anyone want to see “Blue Man Group”? They have been in NYC for years and I have yet to see them.


I love seeing the globe.


Finally we were reaching the entrance to Universal Studios. We did not do Island of Adventure on this day.


We have a 3 day ticket (3rd day was free) but do we make it back to see the parade later in the week?


We got through the turnstiles and we were ready to go.


First we saw Betty Boop.


Vinny met her too.


Renee too.


That was a fun meet but I saw something I wanted a pic of. Group pic.




We passed this on our way to our first ride.


I think I will stop here for now. Any guesses what our first ride would be?

What hotel are you staying at?

After your surgery, your appetite looks like it's about the same size as mine! I have just a couple bites and it seems like I'm full. I wish I could lose as much weight as you are!

They are great. Vinny wears his every night to sleep.
it was a great day. He actually looks like a replica of Vinny's father. It is scary. LOl
We stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton in Studio City.
I actually ate chicken parm tonight and the whole thing but I felt sick after. Never again.

Sorry I fell behind Scott (work has been a pain in my butt since I got back; and add Christmas preparations and I've had no DIS time).

Sounds like a great visit with friends and family (love Cheesecake Factory). Sorry it took so long to drive back.

OK I am caught up again. You got pics of everyone with Betty Boop, I'm impressed. Usually I only get Jim because as you will see if I ever update my own TR he doesn't take very good pictures.

I know what you rode first but I'm not saying.
