Mickey mail - Flash Drive?

Are they still sending out flash drives?

We got our personalized vacation booklet with the luggage tags already, but no mickey flash drive... just wondering if they've done away with it. I wanted a cool flash drive.

I did not get one for our November trip...did get a special email sent with a video link to watch.

I was looking forward to the flash drive..but never got it.

We have a split stay. The first part is a room-only convention rate. The second is a ticketless package (room and dining plan at POP). We did NOT get a flash drive after making the first ressie, but we DID get one after making the second. We made that reservation about a month ago. The flash drive came about a week after we made the second reservation. Maybe they only send them for packages, and not for room only reservations?! It is a neat little flash drive, although, the only thing on it is a link to a video. I will use it for regular storage now, though-- I like how the Mickey head lights up green when you plug it it .

We have a split stay. First part is a package/second is just a room.
We did not get a flash drive.

Friends of ours did get the flash drive.

I think it is sporadic and is kind of a 'perk' type of thing!

I got a flash drive with my magicbands last February.

This year I still have not got the magic bands so I'm not sure if I will get the flash drive or not.

We DIDN'T get one for our trip last September. However, we DID get one for our upcoming trip in April. It's a 4 minute video explaining My Magic +. You would think that I would have received one for the trip in September as opposed to now. I'm pretty sure everyone "gets" what My Magic + means by now, even newbies.

It's still kind of cute. I don't know how I have. Issued this I have been Mia for awhile. Did you get them like a few weeks out or right after you booked?

We had a package and did not get one. I think it is hit or miss. Perhaps if you have not been to Disney much before they feel like getting you informed. Like I said they gave me a link which I think was the same that was on the flash drive.

I wonder if you pay the vacation sooner they give you the flash drive because we waited to about a week before payment deadline to have the entire vacation paid?

I recently booked a spot at Fort Wilderness for next November. I received a flash drive soon after. It does sound very hit or miss.

We got the flash drive today. It did not occur to me until reading this thread that it might be resusable! I was just going to toss it!
We did not receive magic bands in the mail though.

Hmmm... Guess I'm not the only one missing out.

It does seem very hit and miss... we, too, have a pkg, and paid it off before the due date.

Oh well, can't have it all! Flash drive or not, I'm still headed to Disney, and getting out of this frigid cold for a while. The high here is only in the single digits today!

We got the flash drive in the mail yesterday for a trip 3 weeks from today. We have a room-only reservation booked between Christmas and New Year's. Haven't looked at it yet because we're surprising the kids by switching to staying onsite. Our magicbands still say they are being personalized and haven't shipped yet. I am excited to get those. It's our first trip with them.

I didn't get one for the room only ressie I made in October for our one night stay for MVMCP on Dec 19th. However, I booked a bounce back package for next year and got one about two weeks later. Our trip is not until late Oct, so we're still months out... really does seem kind of random.

In early December, we booked a package at POFQ for June. We received the flash drive less than 2 weeks after booking. My in-laws decided to go with us and chose to camp at Fort Wilderness. They booked a couple of days before us and did not receive a flash drive.

Have stayed on property multiple times since the roll out of My Magic+.

We received the flash drive for two of those stays...both of which were DVC reservations. The flash drives always came about two weeks or so after the reservations were booked. Didn't receive the MagicBands till much closer to our stays.
