Does anyone know if there is an SVG somewhere for Mickey Ice Cream bars? I looked around the internet for one, but no luck. Or, any of you that have made piecings, etc. of them, can you share your homemade file or secrets? I would be forever grateful!! Thanks so much!

my thought was to use the "Mickey icon" - one of my walt fonts has it
then use a font that is rounded for the stick

it would be cute with a bite taken out - I'll have to find a pic, click art or coloring book page for that

I have to get to work now - if you find something that you had in mind that I can trace - I'll be happy to work on it tonight

I couldn't find one. What I did was cut out a plain mickey head on brown paper from my cricut, taped a popsicle craft stick to the back, then tore the ear a bit so it looked like someone took a bite out of it, and then put a little white chalk/white pen around the edge of the bite tear.

I used the MH icon cut a small "stick" but didn't take a bite out of mine!

what about using a mickey head with an elongated lower case L, if you want to have a bite taken out of it, I would use a flower punch after you cut the mickey head.

Thanks guys!! I should have said that I was aimming at the "bite" out of it!! LOL I wasn't sure if maybe there was a deco edge scissor that could do it, too. These are all great suggestions...so I'll play around a bit!!

For this one, I know I just cut the Mickey out with the M&Friends Cart and used a scalloped punch to cut the "bite" out of it.

This was the punch, similar to above, but on a smaller scale. Oh, and I added the white behind it.

BUT, I vaguely remember making one...Let me check my EHD when I get home tonight.

I used Mickey heads it white and dark brown and a scalloped punch for the ones I made in the dining swap.

I made my own using Mickey Font Cart
I cut the Mickey head twice once in brown and once in white
I then took decorative scissors and cut part of the brown.
then I glued the brown Mickey Head on top of the white Mickey Head
Next I used glitter glue to cover the white area (its supposed to look like ice cream-you know sometimes while you eat the Mickey head the ice cream is still there when you eat the chocolateLOL)
I used real ice cream sticks cut in half to make my Mickey heads into Mickey Ice Cream

Here's my layout

Thanks guys!! Those all look great and are just what I'm looking for! Does anyone know where to get a scallop punch that small?

Jennifer - if you do have a file, I'd love to borrow! And, do you happen to know what the font was on that page? Love it!

Both pages posted here are great, too!!

Been really busy, I'll try to find out the font and see if I have a file tomorrow! Off to dance!

I am getting my first Cricut tomorrow (couldn't beat Amazon's price but it is painful to wait 2 days for shipping). Inspired by this post (found through a search trying to find an SVG of a Mickey Ice Cream Bar) I decided to download SCAL2 to pass the time and I created a SVG file with the bite and three little drips. For my first shot at anything like this I must toot my horn and say I did a pretty good job. Not sure if you can post SVG files on here or not... anyone?

We can't host any files here on the board but if you created them and are giving them away for free on a site that is not for a profit than posting a way to get to them would be fine. if they are on a for profit site even if they are free than you can't post a link here.

I would never think of making a profit off of my first 30 second design... is there even a market for this? Nevertheless, if anyone is interested I can email it to you as I am unsure where to upload it to and I would imagine that photo sites won't host an SVG either.

For now I am going back to work on making more Disney SVGs to use in some sort of FE project... UPS doesn't get to my house until 6pm... I'll have pulled all my hair out in anticipation by then!:eek::eek:

Hmmm...I know others have posted their files? They can't post something that they made? I know I'd love to see it! I made mine with deco scissors, but would love to see for the future!
