Mickey ears question

This is my fam's first trip to WDW and I was wondering about Michey ears. I say an eppisode of Jon & Kate + 8 where they went to WDW. They had ears with each persons name on them in there room when they got to the hotel. I would like to do that as well. Is that an option for a non celeb family?

Generally, no. Are you staying concierge level at a Disney resort? Sometimes, since concierge level rooms are pre-assigned before arrival, concierge staff can arrange to have items placed in the room prior to arrival.

For the majority of guests, this simply can't be done, however, because rooms are not actually assigned until you arrive at the resort and they check availability in their computer.


You could always order the ears in advance, like off Ebay (Disney merchandising won't personalize mail ordered products) and maybe have someone sneak into the room (after you check-in) while the rest of your party waits outside and place them there?

also you could have a company like memoriesbybetsy.com get your ears and put them in the room while you're at the park or dinner. That's what i did for DH for our anniversary. it worked great.

We used the Disney Florist in November. They can't have it in your room when you check in, as mentioned earlier, but they were there shortly after we arrived. They were also able to have an adult size Mickey ears in the kid's basket - big head kid Our DS 5 was thrilled to find it after he & DH returned from the pool. We told him Mickey sent it to him.
