Here are my thoughts!
Re: Akershus - I also think having a pre-park opening breakfast would be cool, to get those empty park pics and just experience being in the park before the crowds. However, I don't know if I'd do this at Epcot, LOL! I personally would love to do this at the MK... to get in early and walk down Main Street towards the castle when there's no one else there!
I'll throw my two cents in and say I like the idea of a late breakfast, then snacking around the WS and F&W for lunch/dinner.
Makes sense to me. we've done the prepark before at MK and loved it. i haven't gotten to that quite yet in my forever old trip report but i will. i may then aim for RD and the meet and the meet and greet and grabbing a soarin fastpass before breakfast. starting off with characters may help soothe the burn of not being at MK first for the kids
Re: 'Ohana - Our ADR for dinner at 'Ohana last year was at 8:00, but I cannot remember what time it was when we were seated. I know we did have a bit of a wait. I think we were pretty much finished with our meal (dessert had not yet been served) when Wishes started. While we did have a table at the window, only my seat had a view of the castle and fireworks... my friends' view was obstructed by trees. So maybe getting to dinner a little earlier and then going down to the beach to watch Wishes is a better idea? But it is pretty cool watching from the restaurant.
i think hallowishes will be at 9:30, and Mk closes at 7:00. I'm going to aim for around 7:30. we will see it later in the week, but there is no such thing as too many fireworks if it works out.
Re: Crystal Palace - I've only had breakfast and lunch there. I prefer breakfast, but I was very pleased with lunch. You may want to check and see what time CP closes on the party nights... it may be they close before they start serving dinner? (if that makes sense)
good idea. the hope is to get it as a late lunch i think... like 2ish. but i've got something else in the works that takes priority. im going to miss the puffed toast though!
Re: your day at DHS - Pizza Planet is pretty good. I have not been to HBD. Have you thought about Cape May? That's our plan for our day at DHS... none of the park restaurants really appealed to us, so we're going to head over to the BC for dinner.
