Mickey and Minnie faces are getting a make over

I'm not at all opposed to the change. I think it's kind of subtle, actually. If it hadn't been called to my attention, I doubt I'd have noticed. Besides, Minnie is totally an autumn. She needed to lose the blue eyeshadow!

I just noticed, and don't recall noticing this on past Mickey and Minnie's, but, Minnie's ears look a little smaller, maybe down on her head more than Mickey's. His ears seem to stand up more, be a bit taller than her ears are on her head. Anyone else notice this or are they always like this?

Minnie's ears appear to be lower to fit in the bow? Maybe? Optical illusion?

To answer the main question, I think they look a bit more kawaii or cartoony but not overly so. I always take a bit to grow accustomed to any changes. At least they won't look like their current cartoon shorts versions. I can't stand those!

I LOVE the 80s blue eye shadow. I always wish they would use it to match her dresses. She also needs pink and purple eyeshadow.

The tongues bother me a bit, but I'll adjust.

The smiles are much more of a gentle curve rather than flatter in the middle with abrupt up turns, and tongues are definitely more prominent, and also look a little more 3 dimensional.

On Balance, I like the new ones more.
