I'm keeping my fingers crossed & very eagerly waiting to hear what the announcement is tomorrow!

We have a trip planned for 2 weeks for the last week of October through the first week of November. We're already planning to attend HHN but since all of my family can't go (I have some littles that would be too scared), I'm REALLY hoping for MNSSHP! We have park reservations for MK on 10/31 but we'd ideally like to make that our party day. I feel like this is the final announcement I've been waiting for in order to fully plan our park days.

We are there 7/31 -8/14. I wish they would have one then, but highly unlikely. :(

I think the 16th was the first one in 2019 so you may be able to. fingers crossed. we are going 8/21-8/28 and our little guy will be almost 3, so i think this could be a good year to take him for his first one.

Modified party prediction

I’d say either fireworks or at least small pyro with rotating projection like regular hours last Christmas
No full boo to you but sporadic cavelcades
Socially distant character encounters
Pre packaged treat bags vs trick or treat trails

Agree - don’t think it will be the same MNSSHP we’re all used to

Sounds about right. I would guess maybe not even a party, but ongoing projections and cavalcades and special merch that isn't party merch, maybe some special themed meals at various restaurants.

Ooooh, kind of a mix between MNSSHP and After Hours.....sounds pretty awesome. I'm sure this will be tough for families with little ones, but it makes sense to have this event after official park hours to avoid the overlap crowds (assuming there won't be early entry with this??).

ETA - I see you can get in at 7pm...so I guess there will be some overlap. Interesting....

I never did get to do After Hours and this seems like it’s just like that but with Halloween extras.
Am I reading that right?

We are in. I would like to do it Halloween night. I couldn’t get a park pass to AK for Halloween so this would work great.

That’s how I’m reading it - no fireworks, no character meet and greets, no parade - but I’m still planning on going -
Same. We are going the week leading up to the 50th and are going to be at MK one day that week and then again on 10/01 so I think this is a good chance to do a lot of things without the huge crowds.

Basically...

Back in 2019 I organized a trip around the Villains After Hours - flew down on day 1, After Hours Day 2, and then home on day 3. It was a crazy time but I really enjoyed the after hours event.... So while I'm not sure how I feel about MNSSHP-lite (Diet-MNSSHP?), I'll give it a try. Don't know if I'll plan a separate trip for it, or maybe just tack it on to one of the nights were at Universal.
