Mickey’s Christmas Party and CRT

I agree that advertising CRT and BOG are confusing during the parties. It is listed separately with a Dine Event banner, and called Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party Dining. it says “enhance your evening celebration with a special sit-down dinner during MVMCP. Check back later for more details.” We are going for our first party this year, and I thought it was something special as part of the party too. It was not at all clear to me what it meant by “event.”

We will be eating at 2 before the party in the park (APs so can get in early) but MDE didn’t help make that decision , the dis board did.

Yes!!! That’s why I was confused. And we have never been during Christmas so I thought it was something along with the party. I have 3 days before I can make dining reservations but I think we may still do CRT just a bit early because the hubby hasn’t been to that one and the daughter is getting older.

I believe they took the 2 pm perk away on weekends?. Hopefully you’re going on a weekday? I am not an AP and could be wrong. I would double check that.

Oh thank you for this advice! Will there be cast members standing out in the open handing out the favors? Or do we need to go into one of the shops?

CMs will hand out the favors from big bins as you go through the MK bypass (at least that's how it worked last year). We entered MK from the right-hand side, got wristbands for the party. They then directed us to a pathway that goes behind Main Street Confection and bypasses Main St. As you walk down that path, there are photo ops, music and CMs handing out the favors (they were ornaments last year) and party maps. You can spend as much or as little time as you'd like in that area. The path leads you to the area between Plaza Restaurant and Tomorrowland Terrace.
