I am waiting on one last package. It was mailed last week so should be arriving any minute. I plan to put final touches on the book this weekend and have it ready to mail next Tuesday. I will post pics when I put it in the mail.

Hi everyone! I've been really good about staying away from this thread, but thought I would check in to give you an update on the little guy. I had an appointment today and they've decided to do a C-section on September 9th. I really didn't want to have a C-section, but there really is no option since he's breech and too humongous to move! He's so big that he's measuring 41 weeks at only 37 weeks!!! I had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago and he was already 5lbs 14oz - he had gained 1lb 10oz since the ultrasound I had 2 weeks prior to that! They're predicting he'll be at least 9 pounds. So, basically I'm giving birth to a linebacker!!! Which is very strange since DH and I are both fairly small people. I'm not thrilled with the date since I will be in the hospital for DS's birthday (the 10th), but it's the only date the OR was available as well as the dr. Of course this is assuming I don't go into labor on my own beforehand. Today I was already 1cm and 50% effaced.

So, it's seeming much more real that he will be here soon (2 weeks!!!). Time to start finishing all of the last minute preparations. I guess I should decide on the name, too!! It's either going to be Jacob or Zachary, and I honestly can't decide between the two! I go back and forth on a daily basis!

Anyway, just wanted to keep you update on the little one's progress. Thank you again to all of you who have worked so hard on my baby book. It means so much to me to have all of you welcome my new little one in such a special way.

If you can't decide on the name they sound great together.. Jacob Zachary or even Zachary Jacob. My kids are voting Zachary Jacob... but they said it seems to be our family tradition to use a middle name as a first name w/ our kids! LOL

The last package has arrived. I'm going to rush the assembly and have the album in the mail on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Michelle should have the book just in time for her special delivery.

Will they allow visitors? We could all come crop in the hospital room with you ;-)

Sure, I can have visitors! Just bring your own snacks - I don't think you'd want me serving you hospital food . They've just redone the maternity wing and the new rooms are HUGE! So, plenty of room to crop!

I'f you're having a whopper a C-section is better - imagine if you pushed and he got stuck DS(8) was c-section and much better experience than DS(14). Do you hospitals let you have mobiles? Ours don't really because they say they "interfere with equipment" so that might apply to laptops too. Best of luck - remember we want photos ASAP!
