It's funny because you said exactly what my 1st thought was when I read Lisa Marie's "plea". Why didn't SHE have a truckload of Sunflowers delivered to him?? If it were me I would be sending him flowers constantly. To me it sounds like a weak effort to sound like she cares but yet she doesn't want to spend her own money to surround him in flowers so she pleas to his fans (who have been visiting him since day 1 and showering him with gifts) and makes them feel guilty for not doing enough so she can try to make herself look like the good guy.

Lisa Marie IS an idiot!! I have never been a fan of hers but I never disliked her until she made this plea. Now I can't stand her. This whole thing really makes her look bad in my eyes.

ETA: She may have done other things without the public knowing. Its a pretty big deal in the first place that she is invited to go to his graveside. The Jacksons thought highly of her.

Sorry you think it's harsh but that is the way a lot of fans are feeling. I do know the facts that I based my opinion on. I wouldn't have said it if I didn't. I know for fact that there is a group of fans that visit Michael's grave on the 3rd of every month and I have seen pictures from every one of those visits so I know for fact that he is receiving TONS of gifts. The gifts are later removed after a few days and put in storage to allow room for more gifts. If LMP visited him very often she would have been well aware of this too. It's offensive to the fans and the fans have spoken out publically against her insult to them. I ALWAYS do my homework.

F.Y.I. She has said very mean and negative things against Michael many, many times. If you are not aware of this I can provide you to a HUGE list of links of videos are articles to show you what I am talking about. Many of Michael's true personal friends don't like the way she treated Michael. Not everyone on the list allowed to see him was good to him. Just because the family likes her doesn't mean she was good to him.

My graduation is this Thursday. I want to wear something with me that will remind me of him, but we have to dress really fancy dress and heels... and I don't know if maybe I should we a pin somewhere... I just know I want him with me. Any ideas?

I think a pin would be great! also if you are looking to go a lil on the wild side maybe a fedora and a single white glove ( no need to be sparkly) and some aviator glasses! I personly would do that lol!

See I was thinking of that to, but there is such a strict dress code, that I wouldn't be able to walk. Dumb rules... but I think I'll stick with my favorite pin

I do agree with you on the point that LMP was there for Michael when not to many others were willing to stand by him. He loved her very much, and I dare say she was the love of his life, but I cannot stand for the things she said about him after the fact.
In some of her interviews she appeared ashamed of her relationship with Michael, and whether or not her attempt was to illicit a reaction, I felt it was uncalled for, and can imagine that he felt betrayed.
Maybe I am misreading you, but it sounds to me like your defending her negative actions/comments towards Michael? I can certainly appreciate that she was hurt and upset, but it just hurt to see her turn on him so soon after their split.

It really is just so hard to say one way or the other because the media twists everything. I wish I knew why they didn't work out, and how LMP really and truly felt about him and the allegations. You just never really know what is going on.

I could be getting this all wrong, but just my thoughts on LMP.

Their relationship has so many layers and it is hard to know what the real truth is. For MJ's and her sake she should just set it straight. I watched her on Oprah today (on youtube) and her body language speaks way more than what she is actually saying.

Please go back and re-read both of my posts. I never said anything about their marriage. I was talking about her insulting his fans by insinuating they weren't showering him with gifts. That has nothing to do with their relationship or their marriage. One thing has nothing to do with the other. Since you want to discuss their relationship, Michael himself said a few years ago on tape that Brooke Shields was the love of his life. It was NOT Lisa Marie. He gushed about Brooke Shields years after they ended their relationship and long after his brief marriage to Lisa Marie. You could hear the love in his voice when he talked about Brooke. Michael's personal, close friends don't talk kindly of Lisa Marie. I am friends with someone that knew him VERY well and he doesn't have nice things to say about Lisa Marie at all. Going back to the original topic, to me defending Lisa Marie insulting Michael's fans is insulting Michael himself.

Oh I think MJ would be touched at the way his fans have come together over the past 11 months in his defense. Worldwide, his fans jump to the front of the line to defend his memory and his honor... and I have to think if he could do the same for them now, he would.

I cant begin to imagine divorcing the love of your life.
That doesnt seem reasonable.
You divorce someone when it doesnt work out or something has fallen apart.

Wow, I had no idea that Brooke Shields was the love of his life. I have always believe that Diana Ross was his first love, because I remember reading a quote from him saying that his heart was broken when she got married. I then also believe that LMP was a great love of his. I think he is just such a loving soul, that he cares for every woman he is with, and loves them very much.
