Two beautiful children. Oh my heart aches for them still.
Yes, the tribute was good but also only so/so. Oh well.
At least his children got the honor of accepting a LIFETIME ACHEIVEMENT AWARD for their dad. That is something else!!!

Such a loss that still feels so fresh.

exactly! as many grammys as MJ won over the years, and they do a ONE song tribute? he deserved much more. it was beautiful, but just did not adequately convey the genius that was his life. my heart breaks for his children-they were so composed and humble. their daddy is looking down on them and feeling exceptionally proud tonight.

:worship:

I could not hold back the tears :( that was to much for me
Wow! MJ did soo good raising those kids! I love them sooo much
Im so proud of them as i bet the whole world is to.
even the cousins seemed as if the wanted to cry...I loved the tribute but like you guys said I expected more.
Totally loved what the were wearing! Paris looks like a such a young lady!
I didn't finish watching the grammys after the tribute i put this is it on :cloud9:

We started out with 100 shows - 25 each from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and 2000s. In the end, only one performance remains: Michael Jackson at Madison Square Garden in 1988.

Jackson fans came out in force to ensure their favorite's position, racking up tens of millions of votes - and scoring the late singer the runner-up position as well.

How much of the vote did Led Zeppelin end up with? Where did Barbra Streisand finish? See the full results right here.

Can't get enough voting? The 100 Best is over, but swing by the Honorable Mentions gallery and have your say on the Best of the Rest - 10 shows that almost made the cut.

ET Source: Blanket Became Overwhelmed Before Grammy Moment

Copyright 2010 Kevin Mazur / Getty Images
Sources close to Michael Jackson's family reveal to ET why the King of Pop's son Blanket was noticeably absent when his siblings accepted their late father's Grammy award on Sunday night.

The source says Blanket became overwhelmed moments before his brother Prince Michael and sister Paris took the stage.

Joined by their cousins, Prince accepted his father's Lifetime Achievement Award, saying of his dad, "Through all his songs, his message was simple -- love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world." ET's source says Prince wrote his own speech for the awards ceremony and had been practicing for a couple of weeks.

Paris also spoke to the audience, saying, "We love you daddy." Paris did not want to speak to the audience but her grandmother Katherine Jackson is said to have prompted her to say something.

Afterward, the children attended an awards dinner. Onlookers say Prince didn't let the Grammy award out of his sight.
Blanket has daddy's eyes!

I know!! his face say's it all! you can tell how proud he is of those kids,:cloud9:

I was so proud of Prince and Paris. They made their father so proud. Prince's speech made my cry my eyes out. I love how they both told their daddy they loved him, and that they wanted to thank God for watching over them for the past 7 months :( I bet everyday without their daddy is so tough. I also love how Prince thanked the fans, and how he got all choked up, he really love his daddy :( That made me cry really hard.

I was really disappointed with the tribute itself. I love how they still used Michael's voice in Earth Song, but I really felt like he deserved more. He won so many Grammy's and made history with each performance. He was the King of the Grammy's and I think he deserved a far better tribute than that.

I was confused at what Paris's speech meant...

"Daddy was supposed to be here. He was suppossed to perform this year but he couldn't perform last year."

She had me up all night trying to figure it out...

yeah i was really confused about what she said to.. but then i got to the conclusion that she got nervous a lil bit of stage fright and her words did not come out right. Thats what i think happened hehe poor thing.
I think the same would have happened to me! :lmao:

New Top Level Meeting in Michael Jackson Death

Dr. Conrad Murray is one step closer to being charged in the death of Michael Jackson after yet another top level meeting in the L.A. County District Attorney's Office last Friday -- this according to multiple law enforcement sources.

The way it was described to us -- it was "a big meeting." D.A. Steve Cooley was on the list of attendees.

As we first reported, the D.A. is ready to charge Dr. Conrad Murray with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Michael Jackson and the case could be filed as early as this week.

The deputy D.A. assigned to the case -- David Walgren -- has all the LAPD's investigative notes, and the D.A. could charge Murray even without having the case formally presented by detectives.

I think she was nervous and just said it the wrong way. What I think she meant was her daddy had planned to perform at the Grammy's this year so he should have been there. He was asked to last year and decided against it saying he would appear and perform this year. That's another thing we were cheated of seeing him do. :sad1:

I think they are just beautiful kids. Little Blanket... ahhh poor baby. It's not fair. Michael did a great job raising them, he should have been able to see them grow. :sad1: Kids dont just grow up good and compassionate and confident and true. That takes a parent who consistently models that to them.

I'm having a sad Michael day today.
:guilty:

You know, something I noticed... Paris really carries herself with the same body language as Michael when he was nervous talking to someone onstage.

 Me too, me too.

I noticed that Prince's hands looked a lot like Michael's.
I also notice that Paris mannerisms were quite similar to her daddy's.
Blanket has his father's eyes. No question about it.
