We are going to his star this year, too. Sometime in Spring once Captain EO opens at DL. I dont know what my reaction will be..... I know it'll be sad to see it and touch it.

St. Nearby at 1500 Vine St. is The Jacksons' star where people are encouraged to remember him because the pop star's individual one at 6927 Hollywood Blvd., in front of Grauman's Chinese Theater, is unaccessible because of the Bruno movie premiere. Flowers will be placed there at 9 a.m. by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

I was there 3 weeks after MJ passed away (one of my BFF's lives in Hollywood, and I'd planned a couple of months in advance to visit her there); it was about a 45 min. wait just to walk up to the star. Aside from when I've been at actual funerals, I've never seen so many people so sad all in one place . I'm not prone to crying in public, but it was just....yeah. Of course I cried. At least I wasn't by myself like the girl in the pic. I feel bad for her. Hope you have someone who'll be there with you when you go

Ummm yea. She needs that much. NOT!
I hope those kids have some $$ left for later, when they are no longer minors and have to fend for themselves. I know Micahel would have wanted that security for them.

Michael did such a wonderful job raising them. I hope they always remember the values their daddy taught them.

I think I want to go by myself. No one in my family really understands my feelings about Michael. I sort of want it to be like a pilgrimage to his star, to set the tone for my new life. I am debating on whether to go this year (short of funds ) , or wait until June 25th 2011 by then I will be 19.

When I go to see the star I am also going to see Captain EO I am also going to visit the wax museum and take my picture next to him. I plan on getting my tattoo while I am there. I wonder if different rules apply for a tattoo if your not a resident...
