Miami jungle island??

We get into Miami pretty early the day before our cruise. I was thinking about going here with my family kids 11 & 7. Has anyone done this? Thoughts? Any other recommendations for Miami

Uber would take you there I am sure. Since I dont know where you are staying, just to give you a data point, Monkey Jungle is about an hour away from the airport. So it might be a pricey ride, that's why I asked about the car. If you do decide to go, take a look at their schedule for the Shows (really feedings and enrichment) this way you can possibly time your trip a little better.

My degree is in Animal Behavior with an emphasis on Primatology. I used to be a zookeeper so this place was pretty interesting to me. From what I could (public areas, general condition of the primates) see they seemed to be doing things pretty well there for those that might have concerns about this type of attraction.
I stayed and spoke with the Gorilla keeper for quite a while.

Oh Monkey island is an hour thats further then I'd like to go. But Jungle Island is really close I believe. Which looks to be fun as well.

I’d look at the frost science museum over monkey jungle. Closer to the port and it’s rather new for the area.

I saw that this week, DH and I went for yacht show and stayed at a hotel by it. I’ll look it up! Thanks!
