Miami Airport

We are flying into Miami with Virgin and want to spend one night in the area of the airport. Can anyone give any recommendations on a good hotel

Hi,
If you've booked with Virgin Holidays then the Mia Hotel on the Airport is good value thru them. It means you can have a drink on the flight and pick up your car the next day which is much more relaxing than dragging your cases on Courtesy Buses when you arrive.
The Hotel has the usual facilities including a pool and the rooms are nice. If you don't want to eat there the food options on the Concourse give you quite a few choices albeit mostly fast food.
If you choose an off-airport hotel you will need to pick up your car first and then find the hotel. As you arrive at around the time people are leaving work this can be a bit stressful when you are tired and the roads are packed. If you've been before it's not too bad but if you're a first-timer I can't recommend an on-site Hotel stay too highly.
We are flying into MCO again this time and love spending our first night at the Hyatt . It is a great feeling to know you can get off the plane and tumble straight into bed!
