We're going to celebrate DS6 birthday on the 6th. We are going to MHP on the 4th.

DS6 will be Peter Pan, DW as his Tinkerbell, DS4 as Cinderella, and I of course will be her Prince Charming.

This trip is a surprise to the kids, We usually go in the spring so they aren't expecting it. We're just going to load up in the morning like we're going to school, and drive to the airport instead.

Staying 4 nights at GCH. Very excited for this trip, first time we will have seen DLR in any sort of overlay.

**Change of costume plans**
I am still going as a devil, Hubby(the party pooper) isn't dressing up, DD is going as the Cheshire Cat instead of a pirate and CD is going as a pirate instead of Indy. We will be at the Pirate League/ Round up area as soon as they let us in the gates cause DS is being made over to a pirate at 4:30'

Has a meet been arranged for the Disers going 10/08? This is my first Halloween visit to Disneyland, and it would be cool to meet some of you. Maybe we can all take a Haunted Tours together!

Woohoo half of my costume has arrived! 3 out of 4 are going as steampunk (DS11 loves steampunk) and 1 as a ninja!

I ordered a corset - not something I can sew myself. It was coming from the UK and came at lightning speed. Now for the bottom half (skirt) to be completed! Or else I'll be in shorts. I checked the 15 day forecast and it looks like the 95+ heat is coming back in October. Here's counting on the weather reports being wrong.

Yay! Glad your costume is coming together. And yes would love the weather to be warm but not that warm! We'll all be melting out of our costumes!

I just ordered a Snow White costume. Now to find a headband and shoes to complete the outfit.

dreeger - I don't seem to have you on the list, could you let me know your date and I'll add you in!

Two more of our adults agreed to dress up for the party on 9/27. Add a witch and a pirate! Now just hoping my shoes for my Minnie costume show up by Saturday or it looks like I will need to buy some spray paint!

You are slowly convincing all of them to dress up. Well done! Hoping your shoes arrive very soon!!

I am 2/3rd's done. Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope are finished. Now I have to make my King Candy costume. The ladies at the fabric store are now saying "see you tomorrow" since I have been there almost every day for the last 3 weeks. Nothing packed and we leave Wednesday night.

Exciting having the costumes almost done! I second the call for photos!

Well, i havent been there since 2009 so i dont know how much it has changed lol. Im planning on taking the Happy Haunts Tour before the party. Anyone going the 8th have any suggestion on where we can meet?

There haven't been any parties yet, so it's possible that things will be different this year. In previous years there has been an inside the park check-in location where they will scan your tickets and give you a wristband. Two years ago they didn't have the inside the park location at the first party, but I'm pretty sure it was there last year (you'd think I remember, given that I was there!).

I asked a CM when I was leaving the park Thursday evening and she said she *thinks* the inside check in will be in Frontierland~ she told me to ask again in the morning when we entered but she said we wouldn't have to go outside the park to check in. Our plan is to hit DCA at 7am and hit everything there, go back to the hotel for a bit then head into DL with our costumes in the stroller around 1-2pm.

It might be where it was last year: the hub entrance to Frontierland near where the pin trading tables are outside of the pin shop. It was very quick to get our wristbands, maps, and tiny candy bags.
