Disney's "Mickey's Halloween Party" Facebook event is showing that Friday 4th October is SOLD OUT!! Wonder how long till the others start filling up as well?

I looked yesterday and Yes! it was sold out.
But when I looked again tonight, Oct 4th is not sold out.
Do you think they added more tickets?
Oct 4th MHP is going to be busy for sure!!

Ok we are only doing the one party night on the 21st. We decided not to do 2 in our 4 day trip so if you can remove us from the 23rd party list. The 21st will stay the same, costumes and all

It 's almost time for the start of the season!! How are everyone's costumes going???

We will be there on the Oct 4. The kids are dressing up as something, hopefully they can make a decision before now and then. I know it will probably be crowded but hopefully it is more of a "crowded for a special event" and less of a "crowded crowded" if that makes any sense.

I mentioned this in the Halloween Time thread but as of last week there were still a few tickets for Oct 4 available if you call the Tickets and Reservations number.

Crazy busy making costumes! I got my job hours cut back to less than half time on the first of September The timing couldn't be worse of course because I still have so much of this trip left to pay for....
On the other hand, I have lots of free time to make costumes......and I will be in Disneyland on my Birthday

So we leave in just over a week and my yellow shoes for my minnie costume still haven't arrived. I ordered them on 8/30 and according to eBay, they aren't due until 10/3. We leave for DL on 9/23. Guess I should have paid more attention to where they were coming from. Now I have just one week to figure it out. I'm wearing a red polka dot dress and ears plus white gloves so the shoes really pulled my Minnie look together!

Spray paint an old pair of comfy shoes. They could even be an old pair of sneakers. Paint is cheap.....and if your new shoes don't arrive, you have a back up ready to go. I am painting our crocs to match our costumes.

Has a meet been arranged for the Disers going 10/08? This is my first Halloween visit to Disneyland, and it would be cool to meet some of you. Maybe we can all take a Haunted Tours together!

Woohoo half of my costume has arrived! 3 out of 4 are going as steampunk (DS11 loves steampunk) and 1 as a ninja!

I ordered a corset - not something I can sew myself. It was coming from the UK and came at lightning speed. Now for the bottom half (skirt) to be completed! Or else I'll be in shorts. I checked the 15 day forecast and it looks like the 95+ heat is coming back in October. Here's counting on the weather reports being wrong.

Two more of our adults agreed to dress up for the party on 9/27. Add a witch and a pirate! Now just hoping my shoes for my Minnie costume show up by Saturday or it looks like I will need to buy some spray paint!

DNiece (7): The Best Costume Ever (but she won't tell me what it is!)

At this point planning on October 15th as Scarecrow from Wizard of Oz. Solo for a convention. Just the third trip to DL as most of my time has been spent at WDW...

I am 2/3rd's done. Wreck it Ralph and Vanellope are finished. Now I have to make my King Candy costume. The ladies at the fabric store are now saying "see you tomorrow" since I have been there almost every day for the last 3 weeks. Nothing packed and we leave Wednesday night.

Wahoo! We will be there for the October 15th party. We always go in the spring so this is a first for us. It will be me, DH, DD 16, DS 14, and DD 10.
