I haven't read anything on MGM's "Journey Into Narnia". I loved the movie...is it a cool exhibit?

Uh, sorry, no, it's not cool. Really, it takes about 2 minutes to walk thru. It's very disappointing. There are a few props from the movie to view about 3 small areas if I remember correctly. Also, you walk thru the door and see the white witch, which is kinda cool but really not at all what I was expecting.

We saw it in April. You walk into a soundstage made to look like Narnia in the winter, trees, etc. Kids sit on the floor and parents stand. The white witch comes out and curses everybody then goes away. This is followed by a 3-4 minute replay of the movie after which time you leave and view real props from the movie.

It's very well done and a quick heat escape. It's short, but fun.

On the outside of the building there is a neat picture of a snowy scene from Narnia where you can take pictures. We posed our kids looking cold!

They also make it 'snow'.

Try it -

It's cool but very short. I hope they eventually do more with it.

You go into a room that is totally decorated with pine trees and snow. A real actress appears (the witch) and talks about how humans have been found in the forest and you have to decide whether you are with her or against her in the war.

Then on the screen in front of you they show clips from the movie, kind of like the trailers you see in movie theatres. It does not last very long. When that is over you leave and there are movie props to look at on the way out.

My DD10 was dissapointed. She really thought there would be more to it. When we left the "screening room" I thought for sure we would be led to another room with an actual live show or something, but that was the end!

Thanks for the feedback. Based on the lack of posts about it I figured there wasn't much too it. Either way we'll see it, but I wanted to be sure my daugter is prepared with what to expect so she's not disappointed.
