We are going to WDW May 14th - 22nd. I was thinking of going on Tuesday May 17th for the morning EMH but now I noticed that the the evening EMH are on Sunday. Would it be better to go on Monday right betweeen the EMH's? I figure alot of people will be doing both. What do you think?

Sounds nicer to me to stay at a park at night. Are you staying onsite or off site? Were you trying to avoid EMH days?

We are staying onsite at the CR. I'm thinking of going early Monday. Then staying all day to Fantasmic at 8:30 - 9:00. Hopefully that won't be to long. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Sunday will be a Star War Weekend, so if that is of any interest you might consider that. If it's not then I think Monday would be a good day to go to MGM, between the two EMH days. We will be at WDW the same time as you. Have a great trip!

I went to MGM on a Tuesday in Nov. The rest of the trip, we waited a maximum of 20 minutes at ANY ride, including Test Track (in EPCOT) in ANY park.

On Tuesday, I got on ToT 3 times during EMH. After that, I stayed until 1 P.M. and only got to do lunch, Disney Animation, Millionaire show, and Beauty and the Beast. I spent the whole day wandering the park looking for something that wasn't an hour wait or a show that wasn't already full 30 minutes before it was going to start.

I left and went to MK. Again, this was like 1:30 in the afternoon. Did Splash Mountain 3 times in a row b/c I walked on everytime. The park was really deserted.

Never again will I go to MGM on a Tuesday, unless I am planning on doing EMH and leaving by 11:00. Otherwise, it's just NOT WORTH IT!

So Monday is good then. I'm glad to hear that. I'm hoping it won't be crowded.

Greg- Have a great trip. I'm thinking of goin over on Sat May 21st to see Star Wars. I heard a few stars may be there. I would love to get a pic with Chewie too. The guys at work would be really jealous...

I would agree... Monday is a good day to do MGM. We usually always avoid EMH entirely... most of the time it's good to do a park that had an EMH the day before. Example.... last year, when we were staying at Pop Century, our first full day, a Wednesday (then EMH morning for Epcot), we got to the bus stop at 8:00 am to catch the 9:00 am opening at MGM (which had an EMH the morning before.) We were the only two people on the bus. Right next to us, there were a million people jammed in the queue for the Epcot bus. These people probably didn't get to Epcot until almost 8:30 anyway, so they missed most of EMH anyway. I actually felt kind of sorry for them.

We always do morning emh. You can get so much done in the first hour or two. Then hop to the park that had emh the day or evening before. You can easily see much of mgm in the first two hours. Get out by 11 or noon, and you got done in two hours what everybody else is going to do in about 5.
