MGM with kids

We are planning a trip for this May . Went last year at the same time and skipped MGM. This year it is on our list of things to do. However there are a couple of rides I am wondering about for my kids 8 and 9 1/2. Tower of terror and rockin roller coaster. They say they want to go on but these rides seem a little much for them although the 8 year old seems to be my little daredevil. I just would hate for them to have their day ruined with a bad experience

If it helps my 5 yr old loved TOT and my 7 yr old DS loved RNC went on it about 6 times, even one time with his sister alone because I just didn't feel like it again!

If they are tall enough and want to go let them they are safe. There will be MUCH younger kids on both rides.

All our kids just love MGM, especially since there is something for all ages! Our last trip my 8 yr old tried the TOT and RRC and loved them both. You will really enjoy MGM

My daughter is a thrillseeker and she loved Tower of Terror at age six, Rock'nRollercoaster at age 8. My older daughter is more cautious and waited until ages 10 & 12 to "enjoy" those attractions and she didn't feel the need to repeat them.

We took our kids last year and our DD6 was the roller coaster queen! TOT, RNR 4 times, Everest, SM 4 times!
She can't wait to go again in December.

My DD was almost 6 when she road it and road it 7 times in a row! My sone was about 10 I believe and rode it once and screamed like a girl and never went back! I think you should let them ,and have them decide if they like it or not.

MGM is my kids favorite park! I know some call it a 1/2 day park, but we usually plan two days there. The shows are great, and we find all kinds of things to enjoy. The parade here is my favorite! We have yet to get DD on the Tower of Terror, but she loves the Rock N Roller Coaster! DS could spend all day on the TOT and RNRC...

MGM is my DD's favorite park! She was 9 when we went and rode RnR 6 times, it was her favorite ride at WDW! Hope you have a great trip.

MGM is my family's favorite. We love the shows and the parade. Our DS turned 5 while we were there and couldn't wai to do ToT but I would not say it was his favorite! On our first trip DD was 6 and it was by far her favorite ride the entire week! This year she rode RRC and really liked it. DD 11 loves both rides. I think your kids would really enjoy MGM!
