Where can I confirm rides closed for rehab?


I just saw on Allearsnet for July 2004 the following will be closed at MGM...

Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure will be closed for rehab May 3 through July 8.

Star Tours will be closed for rehab from July 16 – August 1

Does this mean that StarTours will be open on Augst 1st? We are going to be there for a week and are leaving on August 2nd(no chance of making it to MGM that day). My boys really like StarTours and look forward to it.

From the looks of it, Star Tours won't open again until 8/2. However it's always a great excuse to plan the next trip .

Anyhow the DIS has a great database of info-- one of the things is the ride rehab listings. Here is the link:

Star Tours is scheduled to reopen on August 2. However, it's always worth it to check on August 1 to see if they got done a bit early. They won't always announce an early reopening, but it's quite possible that it will. If your son is really a fan, try and stop by towards the end of the day at the Studios and check.
