This is what I do. I go down the main street and then I take a right and run for ToT (Tower of Terror) and RnR (Rock N Rollercoaster) and Fastpass one and wait in line for the other. Usually it's Fastpass for RnR and wait in line for ToT.

Then I check the schedule for the times of the shows I want to see (my 2 DDs ages 5 & 8) like Beauty and the Beast or Little Mermaid and decide how I'll fit them in. You can Fastpass the Mermaid show but not the Beauty & the Beast show.

You need to get a hold of a list of rides and decide which you really want to get to and get them over with before the crowds build up. For us and most people its RnR and ToT. They are MUST sees!

Hope this helps a little!

Take advantage of the touring guides for MGM found in the Unofficial Touring guide. That's my advice.

I agree 100%! Except, I pull Fast Pass for ToT and Stand in line for RnRC! :flower: I'm a hugh Aerosmith fan and try to ride several times while I'm there!

Uh, does everyone do the same thing? LOL Cause we do the same thing- take off running (even if it's just one of us while the other lags behind with the kids LOL) for fastpass to RnR and run back to ride ToT. Then after that depends on if the fast pass time is ready for RnR. Then we check the times for things we want to see that day (shows/etc.) and..... the FIRST time we went we made the mistake of then working our way to the back- getting fastpasses where we could, waiting in line for other things.

But the 2nd time it went better and what we did was what I described above, except after checking times for the shows we want to see we head straight to the rides/etc. in the BACK of the park- and work our way forward. Seems like no one else is back there- lines short for awhile and such. I think everyone is running for ToT and RnR then working their way around/back in the park? Seems like it.

But I'm laughing that probably EVERYONE is running for ToT and RnR first thing. I wonder how empty the back of the park is while everyone is doing that. LOL

I think I read this in the Unofficial Guide. When a show lets out, don't follow the crowd. There are certain eateries or rides that become jammed when 200 people go to them at the same time. The guide should list the specifics.

As far as must see's, we love the Beauty and the Beast Show. If you have small children, Playhouse Disney is fun, too!

Too funny! That we all almost do the same routine! I think we don't always do it the same and it depends on which line is longer and usually ToT has a shorter line so that is why we Fastpass RnR (DH runs over while we go on ToT) and go in line for ToT. DH is the Fastpass runner because our 5 year old still won't go on either of these rides so he does the running and the waiting first, then we swap. What a sweetie!

And Allison -- the new motor car stunt show should be open when you are there. :cool1: That is at the back of the park at the end of the NY street.
