Mama Melrose is one of our favorite restaurants. On our next trip we only have 1 park day and we are making a special trip to MGM at dinner time just to eat there. This will make 9 trips in a row of dining at MM.
We ate at all three on our last trip in November and loved all of them. I had booked a PS for Sci Fi before we left home and was told when we got there that most days if you don't have a PS you wont get a "car table". We had good burgers and onion rings and I had a space invader cocktail with a glowing blue ice cube
We went to 50's prime time for lunch on my birthday. Hadn't planned it but checked the dining reservations desk who booked a PS for 10 minutes later. We walked over and were seated in 5 mins. People who had just walked up to the resturant were told they had a 60 min wait. We were soo lucky. As it was my birthday I had another cocktail - not sure of the name, but the food was good and the CM's were fun. We were a little unsure about eating here as we are quite quiet people but it was fun.
Again booked mama melrose on the day at the dinner reservation desk. This was our last day and we didn't realise it was super soap weekend and the park was realy busy. Again they were turning peaple away with 60min waits at the resturant door!!!! We had agreat meal. The flatbreads were great, I had a chorizo tomarto and red onion. i could just eat it now.
We had a great meal at Mama Melrose the night we were there. However, my kids (ages 12, 9 and 2) love the atmosphere at Sci Fi. We haven't been to Prime Time yet but this May we will be eating lunch there then having a late night snack at Sci Fi.
