MGM Dining Question

Mama Melrose, Sci Fi Diner, or Prime Time Cafe?

Which would you choose and why?

Primetime difinately!!! It's loads of fun & the food is good. Love the Fried Chicken!! The desserts are awesome too.

We ate at Mama Melrose and Sci-Fi last month. Did the Fantasmic pkg at Mama's and found the food to be pretty good - basic Italian, good sized portions, and great flatbreads. Sangria was also good, something that I don't find often. It's a bit of food, we took our deserts (included in the pkg) to go and ate them while waiting for Fantasmic. Did Sci-Fi for lunch and had fun! The theming is great, and didn't hear a peep out of most people as they were engrossed in the movies! Food was fine - just sandwiches and fries - and my burger was better than average for sure. Didn't do PT as my DS is not a meat and vegetables kid and didn't want to subject him to the banter over his eating choices...very picky eater that's SLOWLY trying new things, but it wouldn't be hard to undo any progress we've made .

I'd do either again - Sci-Fi for lunch (hear dinner may be a different story) and MM's probably anytime....

Id pick Mama Melrose. It is one of our favorite WDW restuarants and Im a big fan of Italian food. The other 2 menus dont really appeal to me much, however my mother and DSs enjoyed Sci Fi on our last trip.

definitely Mama Melrose! It is our favorite MGM restaurant.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only Prime Time fan. Used to go with 2 DS for the atmosphere but now DW and I go alone because we like the food. After 3 or 4 days of "restaurant" food I crave something closer to normal food.

That being said, I like all the MGM restaurants. I noticed you didn't mention The Brown Derby. It is more expensive but worth the occasional treat.

Did you forget the brown derby on purpose??? That's our favorite, and we think the food is the best there; it's more about the food than the theming....

We did Hollywood and Vine before Fantasmic last November and thought the food was terrific. A lot of variety and all of it well done (maybe I should say done well, you might think it was overcooked).

we love PT, I love the food and its more normal home cooked meals at good prices and HUGE portions. the atmosphere is fun, too =)

We've eaten several times at both PT and Mama's and once at Sci Fi. I would rank them PT, MM, Sci Fi. Prime Time food is good and atmosphere and gimmick is lot so fun. Mama's has good Italian. Sci Fi is like no other place, but the food is just so-so.
