MGM Charc. Breakfast?

Any comments on the Hollywood & Vine Charc breakfast at MGM? I have reserved this for our up coming trip & was wondering how it was. We are doing Chef Mickey's for dinner one night, but we have done this before. We were trying MGM for breakfast for something new.

We did the H & V breakfast on our trip last November and we really enjoyed it. The characters were fun and the food was decent. Wasn't the best ever, but not bad at all. I thought it was fine for a nice change.

I agree. We did it a year ago. Food was good enough. But the characters were very good and we had fun. One thing though, Minnie just stood at doorway the whole time for pictures and didn't mingle. I don't know if that's still the case.

Unfortunately I wish I could say we had a good experience there, we did at lunch but not at breakfast and I'm sure it had to do with timing.

It was very busy as it usually is for breakfast. We were seated at the table right by the front door. 4 yr old dd wanted to see Minnie so bad, it took 45 minutes for the first character to arrive at our table and of course they spent about 20 seconds and came one after another. By the time they got to the table dd was sooo ready to leave and so frustrated because she was waiting sooo long to see Minnie (during lunch Minnie stays at the door so you see her when you first come in).

The food was good at both breakfast and lunch. Lunch was much less rushed and MUCH LESS crowded. The characters came around more than once and hung out for a while.

If you're there mostly for the food either meal is fine but if the character interaction is real important lunch is much slower paced. We'd definitely go back for lunch.
