I'm trying to get my post count up so I can PM about the Scavenger hunt and FE. Although I totally get how the FE late add could really impose on folks that are trying to get all their shopping done.

We will have a brief 15-20 minute meeting in the Promenade Lounge at 3:30 to finalize stateroom numbers for those with guarantees and anyone who receives an upgrade upon embarkation. This is very informal but should you like to stay and chat, have a drink (I highly encourage this...it makes the required life vest drill at 4:00 that much more fun!) or introduce your children you can certainly do that, however only one adult member of your party is required to attend to confirm your room number. I hate to be the FE police , but if you or someone from your group is unable to attend, then you will be excluded from the gift exchange as others will need your information to locate you on board. If for some unforeseen reason you just absolutely cannot make it to the meeting (please, please try your hardest), you may call my stateroom under the name Adam or Tara Brunin and leave a message with your information prior to 3:00 and I will pass on to the rest of the group. Additionally, I will call you back late in the evening with everyone else's information.

I encourage everyone to print a transcript of this post and bring on board, but I will have lists printed to handout at the meeting as well. Happy finalizing your gifts and I very much look forward to meeting everyone. Have a WONDERFUL trip!!

Hi Friends - My deepest apologies for posting this later than I had hoped this weekend, but it has appeared that we have had three very willing participants want to join under the wire and I couldn't say no, nor could many of you who kindly gave them my PM information. I want to make this game as "WONDERful" for everyone as it has been for my family so thank you for the willingness to include everyone. The numbers participating have exceeded my expectations and I believe this will turn out to be one of the best FE's that I have ever done.

For the new folks who joined you need to read all the information in this quoted post and be present in the Promenade lounge at 3:30 prior to sailaway to get updated stateroom information. It will be a brief meeting or you may stay to have a drink and introduce your kids to the others. If you are new to FE's, there are many posts within this thread on the expectations for gifts (the don't have to be expensive, or you may choose to personalize, etc). If you have questions please don't hesitate to ask. This will be the ABSOLUTE FINAL LIST!!!!Thanks everyone for your patience as my weekend was crazier than I had hoped and I was delinquent in getting the list up until now! since baggage fees on the airline has gone up I am packing light... but I want to know if anyone has any ideas on what they are doing for dressing up for the Halloween party/costume contest. I wanted to do a crazy balloon hat or something, but no balloons allowed on board :-( Should be fun. can always be a pirate for 2 nights LOL

Gosh I haven't even thought about Halloween Costume for me! Still figuring out the kids! Can't wait to see what you decide on!

Yayyyy! We are getting closer to our cruise date! I cannot wait to have a wonderful week of relaxation, fun and food! This is a much needed vacation for DH and I!

I was going to say they did when we did our original reservation, but now I don't think that they ever did ask...I might be confusing DCL with one of the other cruiselines - I think they just seem to know somehow, LOL. It's magic! But seriously, I think you could call and ask, and if you need it set up a special way, they should note that in your reservation. Ours was set up one big bed, and then we have the pulldown for DD, and the pullout for DS.

With the time change (ship time vs PV time), I'm wondering if I should move our reservation to an earlier time so we can have more time after the excursion to visit Malecon. I originally made the reservation for the time I did, not knowing that DCL has you change your clock instead of staying on the same time zone the entire cruise.

Hi Sharon! I scheduled our excursion @ 8:45 a.m. It says it will last till 1:45 p.m. I wanted to go in the morning so it would be cooler. That would be neat if you guys were w/ us.
