Mexico is "Enraged" with the proposed U.S wall.

Until the US Surpreme Court allows the Bible to become a legal resource...it is irrelevant for the discussion. Just as it is irrelevant in other threads ;).

Really, so acoording to the bible, unless you country embraces Christianity as the national religion yuo can just ignore what the bible says?

Actually, the article you posted stated statistics for families in the US HEADED by an illegal alien. However, if a child was born here in the US, that child IS a US citizen...entitiled to all the rights thereof. If the parents were to take that child back to Mexico to raise, we'd be sending more than the deficit between their income here and what they "need" here to them in Mexico to care for that child.

And that's another issue I would be happy to address. If you sneak over the boarder in order to provide your family with an "anchor" child, then don't look to the United States to support them either. Two non citizens sneaking in to give birth are not only stealing resources but are committing fraud.

liberals seem to think that way.

You have to pay taxes when you die, or buy something, tell me how ANYONE won't pay taxes?

So when you buy stuff that comes from your own money--that you yourself earned from your job? And what is your job again?

I find it interesting that liberals and socialists only refer to the Bible when it suits their agenda. When it comes to abortion, prayer in schools and mangers on town property, they firmly tout 'separation of church and state'.

So that gives you the right to ignore the teachings of your religion? Where does it say that in the bible?

You brought up Jesus. Not me or anyone else here!

And like I said--not pertininent in "other" threads--so why is it pertinent here?

Our country does many things to help the poor--we don't have to bring them all here to do that as Dawn says.

And where in the bible does it say anything about abortion, prayer in schools and mangers on town property?

Good question. If its not pertinent then why are you discussing it?

Again, many Americans receive emergency care and don't pay for it, either. Are you saying that life saving emergency care sould be received only if one has the ability to pay?

The difference is, most of the time the Americans are getting billed and sent into collections and bankrupted. How do you collect from someone you can't trace? You can't, so they don't have to pay and there are no consequences for them.

The same place it says that Jesus should reign over the Constitution and that the bible should be used verbatim in determining whether or not the country has a right to manage its borders as necessary. ;)

He's an American citizen who has every right to complain about an illegal alien stealing American resources that he, as a future tax payer, if not a current tax payer will have to pay for.

That's the beauty of the bible. You can have it say, or not say, anything you want to fit your agenda.

B/c I find it interesting your lack of understanding of the constitution.

The subject of the thread is in and of itself fascinating.

The he should not be disengenious and say that he is paying for others now. he should indicate that when he does become a tax-paying citizen he does not want his money going to help others.

The beauty of the constitution is it doens't matter if it is the Bible, the Torah, or the Koran (sp?).

Jesus would care for the poor, sure he would.

A few here seemed to think that it cost no money to care for illegal immigrants and that is false.

My lack of understanding about the constitution? Do enlighted me.

Don't know who we are talking about---but what tax form do you fill out that you get to declare where your tax money goes? (If I am reading your statement correctly).

Umm, you don't have to "sneak" over the border to get your child born here. Folks walk over the border, legally, every day to shop and visit family. Are we going to stop letting pregnant women do that? You know, you can drive in, legally, up to 250 miles in the US. Lots of Mexicans shop in San Antonio. Tour busses routinely go to Houston from Mexico. Shall we check each woman at the border to see how far "along" in their pregnancy they may be?

Funny, I could have sworn our country loves to hold itself up as an example in Human Rights. I guess only when it is convenient, huh?

Yes, that is the beauty of the constitution. I'm still wondering though, on a personally level, how does one have such an attitude about fellow humans and justify it from a relgious respective. Just curious is all...

I agree that our country can do whatever it wants to secure its borders and I never said otherwise.
