I'm here! I only booked this cruise (our very first) a couple of weeks ago, so have been lurking on the boards trying to learn all I need to know. We consist of me 46, DH 56, twins DD 9 and DS 9 at time of sailing. We booked two adjoining deluxe inside staterooms on the first deck because DH is highly prone to seasickness. Being from the West Coast, we are Disneyland addicts. We haven't cruised before because Florida seems so far away, and hubby has definite issues with gambling, Las Vegas type shows, and lots of alcohol consumption, so we haven't sailed on another cruise line. We have our first trip to WDW planned for July 09. Hummm, maybe need to tack a three-day or four-day cruise onto that?

Forgot to mention that we are assigned second seating for dinner. We are in staterooms 1045 and 1047.

WELCOME.......finally.......we're not alone on the ship!!!

I will add your info tomorrow. Did you have a chance to read any of the first page or the rest of this thread? If so than you have seen that I am not longer on this cruise but the week after but am here to keep the info updated for you all:thumbsup2

and since we are just a week apart the info for us all is the same.

Also jlawall was on this same cruise in 2005 so she has a boat load of info (no punn intended):rotfl: and questions she can answer like about ports and such. On the first page is a lot of info also.

Hi Robin!

I'm back sorta. I am in Fl just got off the Magic from the repo. Boy was that an experience. Hope all is well and just wanted to drop a line to say hi to Jlawall. Turns out we ran into each other on the July Med cruise. Her DD and mine share the same b-day. So on the 20th of July of next year - there will be lots of birthday songs being sung! With our anniversary and my in-laws and my b-day soon after. Did I mention I love to celebrate?

DH says that my birthdays get more and more expensive each year. I just tell him in correlates to how much he loves me.

Now, do I mention that I "won" a Ducky Williams litho on the art auction???????????? :scared1:

Hey all - hope you all had a fantastic summer - just realized that I missed the month of August. :scared1: How sad is that?

HOpefully this thread is starting to pick up! Check back late.

ha ha we have less than you....we started 2 weeks ago so that means we have 165 days left:lmao:

So how was the first day today anyway:)

We started school here today, too.

I enjoyed the long weekend by buying fabric for my fish extenders and helping the kids pick out images for door magnets.

By the way, does this July 20 Mexican Riviera cruise have a theme yet?

OK my turn to bump - just jumped online to check something - I am in the middle of transferring some picture so I had to check in under the dinosaur at home. LOL - how sad is that? Anyway, lots to DIS about and lots to say - HI JoAnn! Are your girls all excited?

I am still planning on updating my blog but now that reality is setting in it seems daunting.

Came home last night about 10 pm PST to find a whole new washer and dryer unit - which is normally fantastic but DH decided to go the route of HE efficiency. Now the washer takes about 1 hr for washing - now to hunt down the manual that DH placed somewhere - when I asked for them his answer was - Honey - you know that men don't need instruction manual! :sad2:

:faint:

Anyone seen my old pal Vern? Yoo Hoo Vern - I have pictures of Travis for Karen! He wears glasses now! :rotfl2:

Yes, of course, they're excited! It took me a few weeks to update my blog and then, I was so glad I did it! You have so much to catch up on at home I'm sure!:goodvibes

Well we have the "Hola Amigos" idea........what do you think?:confused3

It seems like FOREVER since I've posted! Since school is back in session my life is crazy!:scared1:

My DD had her 7th birthday yesterday and we are going to Libby Lu this weekend for her partyprincess: :cheer2:

I have pretty much got most of cruise and disneyland stuff lined out. Now all I am waiting on is excursions, transfers, and flight. Anyone have any tips for finding good flight prices? Some are pretty scary:eek: :scared1:

I am excited to see what excursions will be available:yay:

I think Hola Amigoes is good. I sometime soon will have to start thinking of magnets.

Well I'm headed to the hottub to relax after a hard day teaching those kids!

I like to check KAYAK.com to compare the different major airlines and flight times, then also check Southwest since they are not included in Kayak. I'll start shopping for flights around Christmas. That historically is a lower price time. No one has a lot of disposable income for flights right around the Holidays. :sad2:

We're headed to Disneyland in November to celebrate my twins' 9th birthday, but are driving down. We may drive down for the cruise, but haven't decided yet.

Have a great evening!:flower3:

Hi everyone :cool1:

What is Hola Amigos please:confused3 what did I miss. How is everyone, well I hope.
